I can't tell whether this or the original is my favorite, both are good and your voice is different enough to not be a carbon copy while not straying too far, which is great! despite your claim of it being so hard (not to belittle your effort) nothing came out forced, in my opinion at least.

Your voice sounds genuinely operatic here, especially on the high notes. Maybe it's because I was listening to them earlier today, but this song has some elements that remind me of the band Yes (particularly the bass, keyboard strings, and guitar solo). And yes, this is once again verifiably quad.
