The front half for the heroes, Griffin head, is called a Sky Sled. The villians version, snake head, is called a War Sled, Doom Sled, or Doom Buggy. The back half is the actual part that can be driven independently and is referred to as the tank section. The actual part that is the Battle Ram arm the missiles fired from the tank section. Though the overall vehicle, good or evil, is called the Battle Ram. Tri-Klops is from the Vintage Wave 2 Mekaneck is from Vintage Wave 3 The Battle Ram is from Vintage Wave 1 with exception of the snake head which comes from the Filmation Masters of the Universe cartoon Tri-Klops eye tech under his visor refers to his 200X redesign and especially the "Icon of Evil" comic that changed his origin story and explained his visor. Tri-Klops eyes each have a different function: Blue Eye Distavision Green Eye Night Vision/X-Ray/Infra-Red Red Eye is his laser blast eye

Really cool set. How is the part and build quality compared to the almighty Lego trademark?

The quality overall is not as 'refined' as a Lego brand brick, but the clutch is every bit as good, it does not feel flimsy or fragile, the figures are excellent, especially considering the scale, and there are no stickers. I truly feel like Mega has found a niche that works, and sets them apart from Lego.
