This game was amazing back in the day,and it's still just as good as it was back then.Wrestlemania The Arcade Game contains some of the WWE's(WWF then) best,during that time.The digitized graphics look very good.The wrestlers look so much more realistic,compared to the other WWF games on the Genesis.

What an great game, a lot of comedy in it :D I like the animations, the cool/fast/fluid moves, the scrolling... very nice one. I don't like wrestling games, though, but this one is a gem.

Sadly of this roster, only Undertaker still wrestles. The rest are either retired, sickly (Luger), or dead (at young ages too, Yokozuna, Bam Bam Bigelow, original Doink the Clown). Razor Ramon, aka Scott Hall still does shows now and again.

@@shibez Yeah, Hall's death saddened me, he seemed like a guy I would've loved to hang with, and listen to him tell stories of the roads he traveled to shows.

Oh man. I had a blast on this game whenever single player, vs or co-op. Watching this reminds me of how hilarious this game was back then & still is. Megadrive version was pretty decent. Never played the SNES version. Still wonder why 2 characters were missing.....? PS1 version is superior overall & closest to arcade version but is not arcade perfect. Only beat the arcade version once with Bret Hart as the difficulty was crazy compared to the home ports. Great fun overall. Only thing against it was once the game is beaten, replay factor dries up very quickly. Thanks for the memories & the upload.

the 2 missing characters isn't the only flaw of the SNES version, the max on-screen characters is reduced to 3 (while it's 4 on Mega Drive / Genesis), there's a lot of slowdowns & a lot of speech is also missing

ryzmaker11 I watched a video showing all versions of the home console versions. Had no idea that a MsDOS version was available & completely forgot the Saturn & 32X. SNES easily is the weakest of the bunch which i'm guessing is down to hardware limitations. I find that interesting since Sculptured Software helped with the console ports for both Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 for the SNES; both games were superior (sound & graphics) than the Megadrive ports. Maybe the problem was too severe even for Sculptured, hence the removal of 2 characters.

@@ryzmaker11 That would go more to lazy developers more than anything, or Sega fattened the devs wallets a little to gimp the SNES version. At the time Sega was really trying to go after the western game developer market, by any means necessary.

@@A3000K I'd venture to say lazy developers, they could've gotten it working better on the SNES. As I said to the other guy, Sega was after western developers to put out more software for the Genesis at the time, and probably greased the developers palms to gimp the SNES version.

Pretty impressive considering the Genesis could only display like 5 colors at a time from a palette of 12. The SNES version of this game was Godawful.

Prefer this over the SNES version. But 32x has more use of vibrant colors. Slightly better sound even though the wrestlers themes are still chip tunes

it is clearly that Arcade version is totally superior than SNES and MD versions. At least MD has Bam Bam Bigelow and Yokozuna, different SNES

It was ported to SNES, incompetent devs couldn't fit all the characters in the game, so 2 characters got cut.

@@RealAlphaDrum who wonders what kind of taste and games you played... people couldn't afford to owned an arcade machine and 32 bit consoles..most people owned 8 to 16 bit consoles back then 1995...and 16 bit games are more enjoyable than now shitty days in video games where you pay extra shit for a non full game to get extra and unlock stuff..
