If you use brake cleaner to prep surface before welding, make sure it is says NC or Non Chlorinated. Otherwise you will get chlorine gas in your face when you weld.

If you are cleaning a metal part that you plan on welding, using brake cleaning products is not recommended as it may create toxic fumes when welded (chlorinated versions in particular).

Nice workmanship boxer, you shit on some qualified welders i work with, lol. Loving how the ute is coming along and cant wait to see it scream up at the Bend. Instead of putting 1.6 sheet on the rear mate, see if you can get your hands on some carbon fibre sheet and use that as I'd think it'll look sweet up against the primer grey on the car and maybe use some piano hinge to make a trap door like Cleetus has on Mullet.

Looking forward to seeing it kill some tyres, gunna be schmicko when she's done
