Stellar playing and arranging aside, I would estimate that 95% of full band covers I hear of video game songs, especially from the 8- and 16- bit eras, don’t get the feel or phrasing quite right. This absolutely aces every part of the original composition. Great, great work!

Yeah, but I love the way this one sounds. The electronic version sounds way better and suited. The Orchestral one in Smash doesn't do it for me.

Yeah, except the smash remix is from smash 4, not ultimate. This came after that game.

@@Hamster_Pants Hang on, the remixes that Smash 4 had were Cut Man, Air Man, Quick Man/Heat Man, Spark Man, and Shadow Man. The Snake Man was new to Ultimate.

There is absolutely no denying it. The Mega Man games, regardless of which story arc or generation you dive into, Command Mission, X, ZX, hell even Network, they all have amazing music and some of the best soundtracks in the gaming industry.
