Mega Man 9 - Concrete Man's Stage

I don't know about other people, but I find Concrete Man a good target to go after first. This being my third time through the game, I generally know which boss order I prefer by now.
Concrete Man's stage is actually... very easy. There are not very many fatal traps, and the enemies are not very tough.
Do note... there are some rather noticeable sound sync issues in this video. I suffered some particularly bad frame loss at one point which caused the recording to spaz out a bit resulting in desyncing... but it somehow resyncs itself halfway through the boss fight so it's still okay.
I got a new Challenge completed this run, yay~

My typical boss order is: 1. Galaxy Man 2. Turn off the Wii in frustration Thank you, thank you, thank you for the video walkthrough. It really helps me in the game.

For some reason, the way Concrete Man fires the Concrete Shot reminds me of how Heat Man fires the Atomic Fire in Mega Man 2.

They got me with that too. When I went farther, I saw the next elephant. I thought he was gonna be easy too, and I immediately got a running start to jump over the ball..... only to come in direct contact.

Just bought Legacy Collection 2 and am playing 9 and 10 for the first time. They're kicking my ass 😕 I like challenging and I know they were going for a Mega Man 1 and 2 difficulty here, but those games weren't even this hard. It just comes off as gimmicky. I'd prefer more Mega Man content over ridiculously hard difficulty, of course you make it look easy :P

I found 10 easier then 9 and 2 is pretty easy overall I think but maybe thats because Ive played it loads but yes, 9 is really hard but it's all about learning patterns! Of course you did post this comment 2 years ago haha, hope you managed to do it!

I only ever played the demo, which only had the concrete man stage, but i never got past that stupid green elephant (Keep in mind that i was quite young when i played it)

Well, that's kind of the point, they're being intentionally silly. (You might as well ask why they didn't kill Wily off around, say, game 3 or so.) Just grin with nostalgia and have fun.

DaniXor When I played for the first time, I went with Galaxy Man, but then, over time, I changed my mind to start with either Hornet Man or Splash Woman.
