That is the only time i would say that the game is unfair, but the people complaining about the rest of the game have a certified skill issue

Fun Fact: Megaman's sprite in this game came from the Sega Saturn version of Megaman 8 ;)

In fact, this entire game came to be because Capcom wanted those who didn't own a Sony PlayStation or a Sega Saturn to feel left out that they couldn't experience _Mega Man 8._ So, they reused many assets from it (including two Robot Masters), and voilà, you have _Mega Man & Bass._ The ROM data even refers to it as _"Rockman 8.5."_

@@sebastiann.8088 yeah but when you get to the king robo fight it becomes harder. While mega man gets a platform to stand on that can also block bombs, bass has to do a dash double jump or use treble boost to hit king with wave burner, his weakness. I had more trouble as bass than mega man with that one.

Because this game dropped in _1998._ By that time, the Super Nintendo has long stopped being sold in America, and the market was primarily focused on the Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, and -the Sega Saturn- in a year and a half, the Sega Dreamcast. It would be considered a massive loss to spend the time to translate, market, and produce a game on a system that hadn't had support in years, so it never made it over here. Also, the GBA port is *one* of the reason why the game has a bad reputation. The game is far more tailored to playing as Forte/Bass, which makes sections with Mega Man ludicrously difficult. Just look at that boss fight with the King Plane, and tell me that's a perfectly reasonable boss fight for someone who doesn't have a double jump.
