This was the fastest any% RTA of Mega Man Battle Network 6 Gregar as of 3/30/2016
Finally bopped the 2 year king. Rest well Aaoa.

Can this be run on the Wii u "virtual console" or is preferable to use an emulator for "speedrun" this game?

VC is fine, but if you open the network menu it changes the game. I forget what exactly, but you get some extra/free chips in your pack. Using those would be a different category. But yeah, so longs as you don't open the network menu, VC is (I think) the same.

BN 6 doesn't really have strong notes, largely because the run is straightforward. There's little going on that isn't clear from the video. I have notes here, but there mostly for routing docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/137q_y1FXvCuEdqbKtckgiHLRXwO3tB5bmQpNOQyh00w/pubhtml if you have any specific questions, just ask. Also, are you on the TeamBN discord server?

Did you run this on GBP or an emulator?

Emulator. I have a GBP setup for capture, but emulation is easier and has better video quality (despite what the video shows).

The game can be tough at times. Always keep your folder up to date, and watch closely how the enemies move. There's a pattern to most. It'll get easier as you play, and is quite fun once you have a folder that works well with how you like to play :)
