After being cleared of all charges for his villainous ways, Dr. Wily has turned over a new leaf and is now assisting Mega Man in hunting down eight rogue robots who have stolen the power sources to Dr. Light's newest creation, a peace keeping titan called Gamma. But is Wily truly a new man, or is he leading Mega Man and friends into a trap?
Meanwhile, in the far distance future, Dr. Light's final creation has been discovered: an advanced robot named X. Using him as a basis, Dr. Cain helped to create the next line of robots, the life-like Reploids. Now humanity and machinery live and work side by side, delivering a future Dr. Light had dreamed of. However, this future isn't without its own problems, as X is soon to discover...

Which is shocking, as the war against Sigma was much longer, but in my headcanon, Weil used war of destruction (or weapons compareable to nuclear) to destroy the continents (I mean he created omega zero, and manipulated copy x to becoming deranged and insane, why wouldn't he do this?), hence why the world is destroyed.

I like the duel storyline of Mega Man and X. We may never get a full X series exploring how he joined the Maverick Hunters and met Zero, but this is we take what we can get.

Reploids are technically more advanced than Robot Masters

X is technically neither a robot master nor a reploid (too advanced for the former, not a replicant of himself, so he cant be the latter). However, he is classified as a robot master due to his identification (DLN-∞)

Well Mega Man, Proto Man, and Roll have DLN designations as well, so are they Robot Masters too?

@@HypeVoiceActing Technically, yeah--they're Robot Masters in form, but Light built them to be children(/weapon, in Blues' case). They're built the same way as the Robot Masters (Rock mentions it in the comic in #1), they just don't have as predefined a function

Well, if you want to be technical, X and Zero by the level of their complexity would be considered as a [Master] Android Unit. A construct so advanced that it has a higher level of authority that even Robot Masters must adhere to, on the level of the Asimov's Robotics Laws, or Human Creators. For example, if Zero was fully completed in the classic era and was online in the Classic Era, Wily's Robot Masters like Quick Man, or Crash Man, even Bass would have to submit to his authority as the Master Android Unit, Zero's authority superceded only by Wily (At least by programming. Even IF Bass resists, Zero would either whoop his skid plate or outright destroy him for insubordination) Similarly, X would be in the same authoritative position as Zero when around Asimov-complying Robot Masters. Like how in Archie Mega Man Issue 14 & 16 when Elec Man used his authority as Robot Master to order lesser robots around to help the people. The only difference being that X has a higher authority than Elec Man or the other Light Robot Masters based on his level of construction. Though not in their official wiki, I believe them to be fully sapient androids.
