You can feel Geo's uncertainty in this song. He knows who he's fighting for the most part, in this 1, and doesn't want to hurt them, and possibly, lack of battle experience. Then the next 2 games, you can just feel Geo's confidence soar in the boss battle themes.

Especially after befriending so many of the people he's forced to disarm and potentially kill. The way he's forced to put down Gemini is pretty harsh, seeing how both sides knew each other and were driven to kill each other due to unfortunate circumstances.

Hmm. I guess in Star Force 2, the faster pace represents Geo growing confident with himself, but the music is still somber and evil, showing that he still doesn't feel ready. Then SF3 it's totally fast paced and almost heroic sounding, goes well with Geo having a more straightforward attitude and facing his troubles directly. Yeah, I can roll with that.

That’s the NORMAL LeoKingdom? I’m pretty sure it was around the 2k HP mark for normal and 3.5k is for SP Since basically LeoKingdom, DragonSky, and PegasusMagic all have similar (or the same? It has been a while since I’ve finished SFPegasus) HP

Actually, you can sorta tell if it’s a boss if the character stops moving for a bit but unlike in games like BN4 or 6 where where if you go into a certain spot the character stops moving for 2 seconds then the white screen appears which is a tell that you found a Navi refight spot, in this game it’s almost instantly and you only have like a split second to tell if it’s a boss spot or not.

This. This is the series that got me into Mega Man. (I know, MM Classic 2 is cool and all, but I never owned an NES) Then I played Battle Network 5 and 6, and then Mega Man Zero. I honestly believe Starforce, Battle Network, and Zero are the top 3 Mega Man sub-franchises.(I've tried most of them, including MegaMan & Bass, which is stupidly difficult to beat) I think the reason people hate this game is because it's too much like Battle Network. I like to treat them as completely separate games, because if you look at Starforce alone, you realize how much of a shame it is that it died out with low sales and whatnot. Amazing music and atmosphere in these games... I hope I'm not the only one who thinks Starforce kicks major ass :P

I think this series is so underrated it hurts. All people could see is that you only had one row to move on. But, while movement was simplified, they learned to use that to the advantage of the game's design as time went on, especially in the 3rd game. The 3rd game also had the best battle card selection mechanics in the series, and really set itself apart. I love that game to death and I'm buying it for me and a friend later on (he never got to play the SF series and he's a huge Mega Man fan).

Amazing how MegaMan starforce and its DS neighbor MegaMan ZX had intense boss themes even if some of them are pretty easy especially if you know what your doing(Omega Zero and i think Gemini Spark if i had to name one from Starforce can be pretty hard but can get a little bit more easy if you have a strategy ready and pratice alot and have alot of good gear ready)

Gemini is the easiest boss both in 1 & 2. They are very easy to read despite we are fighting two bosses, the Satellite admin was harder but to be fair they are post game boss

Funny how both Battle Network 1 and Star Force 1 give Elec element the shaft for their special armors. BN1 had no ElecArmor and SF1 has no Elec-element transformation (until 2 gave Aqua the boot and made the Elec one available in both versions).

Carstea Florentin voltic eye, prlz pluses, prlz guns, elec swords; these were my main key to 100% this game and the second one to so, yeah, they're pretty much useful

Blown Moon so there are 2 main timelines: that of the classic series (with the Megaman, X, Zero, ZX and arguably Legends series) and of the battle network series (with the Battle Network and Star Force series)

It's been a super long time since I've played SF1, but I remember there was a junk yard area. One of the rooms in the junk yard had a huge pile of P.E.T.'s, showing you that this game definitely takes place after BN and P.E.T.'s are now obsolete.

Funny thing is, for me, Crown Thunder was the only one I actually needed to use a Best Combo against to get the S rank. How bad is Pegasus, anyway? I've only ever played Dragon.

He he he... When I played, I used savestates and stuff to create a massive Best Combo against Crown Thunder. I then unleashed it on Pegasus to nearly instakill him. It was cheating, but it was satisfying and totally worth it.

Um... I'm not the best person to ask because I can only make progress in these games by cheating a whole lot. He certainly moves quickly, throws lots of things, charges at you really fast, and requires you to shield at just the right moments so you don't get frozen by blizzards and such... I kinda wonder what Leo and Dragon can do. Maybe I should look it up sometime.

Leo jumps around and tanks a lot of non water damage and will use a fire attack that can only be blocked if done right, not to mention can jump on you for massive damage , while dragon has multiple ranged attacks and makes any moves that need to be locked on him to hit obsolete since he can quickly counter , but he is a push over to fire and unlike Leo and Pegasus his special move doesn't put you in a tight spot since unlike leos rapid fire or Pegasus freeze , all 3 of them are a challenge in there respective game's, unless you cheat and import the Leo Pegasus or dragon card from the cript message (which is impossible to have all 3 with looking up the code or trade)
