I've spent a lot of time working on this trailer, particularly the anime shot at the end. Now it's time to go back to working on the game. All 9 Robot Master stages/weapons are done. Now I'll try to work on the final set of stages and the new villain shown here. Check out Otokiwa's stuff. He's the one who works on the soundtrack and he's the one who made the music that really lifts this trailer up. @@DanteCrowlley working with 2D is not worth for them, it's more expensive, more time-consuming, and REQUIRES severe commitment to any art, because a small change in design means having to redo almost everything. For indie projects and fangames it works because they aren't constrained by expenses, time, and they have ALREADY committed to what they want... Although there are some indies/fangames that changes the art and stalls the development hard.

i know the effect is very similar to the gear system, but between the new design for Mega Man with the Overdrive system and the context of Z-Prototype, it makes me think that Dr Light is prototyping stuff that X eventually gets

I like how you made the Overdrive a precursor to the level of power Mega Man X would have down the line. Enhancing not only the strength and range of his Mega Buster, but also of the weapons he obtains from the Robot Masters. Besides the threat of this new set of Robot Masters, it could also be meant for in case the "mysterious robot" comes before Mega Man again.

I'm guessing you didn't play 11 because Power Gear was the same thing. But I'm really glad fan project makers are following suit with what a great idea that was and giving us charged master weapon shots which opens up such a new dimension of play.

I remember way back in the late 2000s when I was a kid when you made a bunch of concept pieces for "megaman 9", and I remember being fascinated at the ideas because full original megaman games to me were so novel at the time. I loved the music and the custom robot masters because they really looked like they could be their own thing, imagine my excitement when megaman unlimited was announced as a full game and not just a proof of concept. I'm well into my 20s at this point but I still have a soft spot for megaman fangames and I look forward to playing this when it finally releases.

The first Unlimited was something I was hyped for since almost the beginning! I remember listening to its soundtrack pieces while waiting for actual release and it was something that I spent so many hours and days back then. ❤ It was the best fangame ever made and here's to hope that this is the one to surpass it! Can't help but feel so happy for you to keep on reimagine what it means to bring quality content for our fandom. So proud to be a Mega Man fan for life! ❤

@@MegaPhilX You don't even know. I got into Unlimited through a let's play. It's likely that it was the first (big) Mega Man fangame I had seen. I played it several times and dabbled a bit in Endless Attack and Omega Bosses too. I even raced in it with someone once! So yeah, I used to be _really_ into it. I may have even more fun with it than emulated 3 and 5 (which I also played). The controls are just so much better. Definitely got spoiled by the dedicated slide button. 😅 Oh, and since I can talk to you: I recall there being a trivia page on Unlimited's official page. I think there was something about a background of one stage (Wily 1?) being inspired by the place where you live. Did I make that up? Am I confusing this with some other fangame? It's been bothering me for several years. Anyway, I'm happy that you're happy. Have a nice day/night! 😊

Another plan that Sigma could potentially use is to revive his own generals from the elite/special Robot Masters such as Ra Thor, King, Terra, Sunstar, Quint, Megaman Killers, Dark Man and Doc Robot and give them much stronger and power up by using the Sigma Virus. I would imagine if Sigma appears in the Classic Timeline, he would’ve look like the Sigma version from the Archie Comics.

@@alexfischer7876 And then Sigma survives, making Proto-Z to be at the state of disbelief. Sigma then turn Proto-Z into one of his slaves just to be defeated by MegaMan. Making Proto-Z as the penultimate boss of the game.

This game looks INCREDIBLE! The graphics may be a bit overwhelming out of context, but the gameplay and animations look like they took so much hard work! Congratulations on being this far in the project!
