I promised I'd tough it out and finish this, what, over a year ago now? Anyway, I toughed it out and finished it. Haha. Hope it was worth the wait to those of you who kept requesting this. Now I've only got 3 days to finish this year's freebie in time which is kinda bleh. Might push my own deadline to "before the end of the year", we'll see.

@@wtelpwte4594 You oughta check out their manga iterations, because unlike the ones in the Day of Sigma OVA, some are just straight up psychopaths. Chill Penguin, Flame Mammoth, Launch Octopus, Sting Chameleon, Spark Mandrill, and yes, even Boomer Kuwager are all particularly malicious individuals who took a lot of enjoyment in being cruel and murderous. Only Armored Armadillo and Storm Eagle seemed to be the exceptions, with redeeming personalities and a moral code/sense of honor.

I love that this doesn't lose any of the melody or tempo of the original. It's faithful enough to be instantly recognizable, yet elaborated on enough to be original. This feels like the original, just cranked up to eleven followed by snapping the dial off.

Amazing! Finally someone who recreates the original melody and enhances it far beyond great into that realm of legend! There are way too many megaman x "remixes" that out right abandon the original sound I fell in love with as a child. I've played Mega man x, x2, x3, more times than I can count and as a 33 year old man I still play them through at least twice a year with my kids. This is a masterpiece that deserves a place in an anniversary or special edition version of the original title! Keep em coming please!!!

Holy crap that is amazing! I just realized that “Ascending the Tower” could be a reference to stag beetles themselves. The males will climb trees to reach the females and suplex any rival they come across.

Stone McKnuckle Well he does launch you into the ceiling with his mandibles and I think rival males will use them to throw their opponents off branches. I remember in Kirby Super Star there’s a stag mini boss that grabs you and uses wrestling slam moves.

Ok. If Megaman X had remastered this Stage's theme; I'd imagine it to be EXACTLY like this. You've blown me away once again. Seriously. Your continuing to blow me away. You always make such good music, seriously. It makes me want to even REPLAY all of the Megaman X games. (Yes; Even the classified *bad* ones.) Just because of this awesome track. Armored Armadillo's my favorite. I like the entire X soundtrack though and while there are certainly great tracks in the other games as well it's a little saddening to consider just how much better the soundtrack was as a whole in the very first installment.

@@2NDFLB I used to play this game on BYOND called Mega Man Wars, you could play as literally every character in the MM universe (had to unlock them over time). Capcom ceased and desisted and didn't even steal the idea to make a badass version of it
