Facing a Level 99 Maverick Zero Without a way to Exploit his AI, would make this Hard as hell.

What a derpy boss. Just stands there and Buster - Buster - Sword and takes all those hits. Even though X2 Zero was also predictable, he was much faster and you still had to keep a consistent enough rythim to hit him. He just stands around here and shoots you sometimes and maybe dashes. Even if you were fight more honorably without the Ultimate Armor it would still be a derpy boss fight.

It's scary when protagonists are forced to fight each other.

I'm curious, do you need to use ultimate armor X to battle Awaken Zero? because there's a cutscene where it shows Zero in his awaken state.

Too bad this version of Zero's A.I. can be easily exploited if you do it right (maybe the regular Zero too but I dunno for sure). I didn't showcase the exploitation in this video, but other people have footage of it on their "no damage" videos of this fight.

So in retrospect, Sigma never dies, Zero sacrifices himself, A-GAIN! X continues on fighting. And my god the dialogue is so gay...

In retrospect, this fight should have been a lot more brutal. Zero should be attacking without any gaps in between. Aw well...

While Awakaned Zero hits harder and his buster is replaced by those rings (and also that you have a time limit of about 2 minutes before he instant-kills you), if you use the exploits of his normal version, you'll notice that the fight is still easily lame, on the other hand Ultimate Armor X fight is a little bit harder (not that it matters since you can defeat X pretty fast anyway) as there are (kinda) no exploits to even do a easy no damage fight.

Man, Eurasia !@#*ed up the whole world. Just look at 0:16. So I guess that by going in this route that might explain why in Megaman Legends the world barely continents but rather islands. The ending in this route (Awakened Zero route) is what leads to Megaman Legends instead of Megaman X6-8, the brutal Elf Wars, the Megaman Zero saga and the ZX saga.

I gotta say, I don't get why this scenario was reserved only for the bad ending. Narrative wise is much more impactful having to fight Zero in his original state as Sigma did, with the W in the background showing this is what Wily made him for. Much more serious than the married couple squable that the good ending route is. Even the opening hypes the hell out of that "eyes opening sequence"... dunno, it was a weird choice, I know it would have disrupted the flow if you had played solely as Zero until that moment only to lose him, but I would have been ok with you recovering him afterwards, maybe even giving you his Black Zero form for the final stage if you fulfilled certain criteria like beating all the mavericks with him.
