Ultra Instinct Megaman I feel like there is a time split from x6. Zero puts himself to sleep so they can change his body. If x retires then zero is woken up leading into x7. If x decides to keep going without zero then I believe this will lead into megaman zero.

In the without zero ending (aka the bad ending) it shows zero disappering from x and aile, going into a sleeping capsule for more than 100 years meaning he will wake up sometime around megaman zero explaining why he was asleep at the start

And it doesn't make sense how sigma came back in X7 when in X6 he looked like he was gone for good hell zero and X kept saying,"that this is the last time we'll allow to you rise sigma"! In x6 it feels like this is the last time we see sigma.

Don Random MomozAZar No Sigma had to be truly dead in X6 because this was all that was left of him from that fight from X5. Both X and Zero said this is the last time you'll rise sigma meaning that this is the last time they allowed to him comeback. Also Sigma's return in X7 doesn't make sense as to how he came when X and Zero finished him off here remember he still hasn't recovered completely from X5. Besides this felt like sigma was gone for good even the music felt like a final boss. Besides Axl isn't even canon( though he's a cool ass character I thought he was because of model a in Zx advent but no capcom even said it themselves that he's just a homage and the model A is Albert not Axl) I think Zero's ending in X6 most likely at least takes a couple years later after the battle with sigma. Ryoma The Peerless Samurai command mission is a spin off just outside the main series. They should have made X7 and X8 look canon cause from it's appearance it doesn't look like it. Axl being canon is still in discussion. To me the Zero series takes place After X6.

If you beat the game with Zero it also ends with him going to sleep. However, they never give a timeline on when he 'actually' went to sleep. So theoretically, he could have gone to sleep after the events of 7 and 8.

ARC DRANZER GAMES Zero sleeping then goes to MMZ. Non Cannon to X is 7-Command Mission. Two timelines, but Zero sleeping in X6 is confirmed by the MMZ complete works.
