K Uzumaki because this is the definition of a quick cash grab, X6 was made in such a short time thus very little time to test and polish it. Levels are badly designed (from obstacle layouts to enemy placements and AI), the sprite works looks off (it is super embossed/offset to the background), even localization is full of bad mistakes.

ay lmao Well X1 and X2 and X4 no. But the series as whole is hated mostly because of this and X7. Me I think X6 isn't bad X7 average. Only thing I liked about X7 is that you can switch characters. That's it for me at least.

You know what? I think capcom is afraid of the video game critics of the reviews, times ago. Because the video game reviewers are the worst reviewers of all when talk about sequels. Look, Megaman is criticized about go the same game after the MM2, and after that all reviews says the same "Duh, same game, 7/10" This is a cancer about reviewers. Look, films sequels are the same, and no one judge by this. Harry Potter are the same, Lord of rings, spider man, etc. Why in the games, the game sequel need to change? This is the most ridiculous thing, and cancer about these shit reviewers, dude. And if a game sequel changes they gonna say "Oh, this is no more megaman, changed a lot" And no matter what, if changes or stay the same, if this is a sequel those reviewers gonna give a low score. Look for Far Cry games, all reviewers sayed that are "same game, different packing duh" Man, why Far Cry need to change? Far Cry is Far Cry, they dont need to change to be like AC. Is the same to say "Hm, this is a Mega Man new game, and this is like Mega Man, 6/10" This is the cancer about game reviewers. I think this is a part of why capcom stopped to make megaman.

Cris Johnson you got a point and yeah we cant deny the fact that reviewers are shits even up to this day especially IGN (just my personal hate lol). i rarely bother to check game reviewer anymore ever since IGN review of god hand back then (go look it up just in case if you are curious/havent heard about it) but still, i know capcom is a bussiness and wants profit. if they cant receive good review for their game, it's almost the same as flagging the game will fail to "boom" but that's not what megaman is for. regardless of how poorly megaman reviewed, people still acknowledge megaman as capcom icon (since it's their first work that went boom, and most people will mention megaman when they first hear Capcom. correct me if im wrong) and capcom still dare to create a new MM game even after MM received such review. even if megaman isnt as successful as Capcom other franchise, people still asking for new MM or MMX, be it fans or not. which lead capcom to create the upcoming MM 11. yeah, capcom had fail us big time and many time. but positively if MM 11 does a good job, it will be the true "rebirth" of megaman. capcom team responsible for megaman said "isnt it about time we make a new megaman game?" during 30th MM anniversary. it could be a proof that capcom still trust their MM fans regardless of shitty reviewer.
