Why didn’t you use recoil rod to bounce at floor?

How are you doing charge attacks without charging?
@Hisydum5 ай бұрын
In Ultimate Mode you can use command inputs to do instant charge attacks. So for example, to do a charged saber attack you need to press: Forward + Down Forward + Down Weapon. This allows for these Recoil Rod maneuvers in the video.

@@Sonicgt Well, yes but not in the way you think. Tool-assisted runs like this are usually played frame by frame, with the ability to skip back a few frames if something isn't going to work out just right. Getting right up on the enemy sprite without touching its hitbox probably didn't work the first few tries - got too close, timing was just a bit off, that sort of thing - but by rewinding and trying that bit again, they'd eventually hit on the exact closest safe point. Don't expect anyone to be able to pull that off in a real-time playthrough, it's probably technically possible but too finnicky for human reflexes. Tool-assisted runs are more to show off the really cool stuff that could be possible without human limitations (and sometimes, figure out how tricks work so they CAN be replicated in human gameplay.)
