Mega Man Zero 3【Perfect Run】Childre Inarabitta

Mega Man Zero 3 (GBA), Perfect Run/No Damage speedrun of Childre Inarabitta's stage (Oceanic Highway Ruins) (100 Pts.), played on a NG+ save file. This no damage run's purpose is to show off more of Zero's potential via the EX Skills over charge attack spam. As such, charged attacks (excluding Recoil Rod, since there's universal utility with it and it's damage sucks) will not be used after the intro stage. You can see the entire run by viewing the playlist at the end of the video or at the bottom of this description.
Childre Inarabitta (Oceanic Highway Ruins) Strategy:
Well, this one's probably the first of one of the actual challenging stages of this run. Your movements need to be very quick and precise, even if you aren't speedrunning. You're literally racing the little monster to the switches. In my case, not having his room's water levels all the way down means I don't get full 20 mission points, so it's required to press the buttons. Pushing the buttons in area 1 is easy once you get the memorization of the enemy placement down. Area 2 on the other hand really requires you to memorize the platforming as well. It's really easy for Childre to catch up to you here, so taking leaps of fate are best if you know where you'll land. Everything needed to be said about that stupid mini-boss is in The Breakdown, so I'm not going to mention that thing here...

I thought the Golem's hurtboxes were bad in Zero 2, but the mini boss on this stage is atrocious. Also sick combos on Childre.

I always remember Childre by this voice clip 2:01 And I bet he was "fun" when you had to fight him in the boss rush where the water tank is full.

Actually, he wasn't that much different in the boss rush. Killed him before he could even do his annoying junk, lol.

Admitly the mini boss was harder than the actual boss. Darn you arrow attack...and the robotic fishes can go get shredded by Model L.

When I first played this game, I went after Childre first, reasoning that due to his small and non-threatening design, his stage would be easy. ...I was wrong. Great video, though!

All the spikes and enemies you can't see make it really hard to actually hit all the switches and beat this guy to the end. I don't think i've ever even managed to.

The weakest stage in the game, in my opinion. It's not bad, but a higher screen resolution would help a lot.

You say a higher screen resolution would help, but for me, I never had ANY problems with this stage. EVEN when I decided to play the stage seriously for the first time, I had very little issues with the stage. Volteel Biblio's stage, on the other hand, is a different story...

Agreed! I made a route to get all disks while keeping that sweet S rank but one of these bastards 0:52 always manages to get me 9/10 times

Well you can play that stage again after defeating that inarabitta and then tell operator to transfer back to that stage

Childre Inarabitta is one of my most hated boss ever! I hate him! That’s why I chose him as my first target in order to kill him, get S rank, and get his EX Skill Throw Blade!
