​@@Phoenix_Blader_93 you know, X never explicitly comes out and says that, literally everyone just assumes it because of X2. He _could_ be a copy. All that talk about heart could just that this zero stands for the same things the old zero stood for, so it doesn't matter, he's zero

I've always thought of this, especially with how the bosses in the Zero series refer to him as "outdated" trash/garbage.

X can be considered as a non-reploid as well because he was created by Dr. Light. The Zero games actually play off of this in Zero 3 where X and Zero are the only “reploids” unaffected by Weil’s mind control.

Well his programing is old but his body does get updates.

I don't remember where but wasn't it said that Zero's inner workings were almost incomprehensible to the scientists of the mmx timeline? Maybe Wily based Zero off those alien robots in the game boy games or are those non canon.

@@ZoniferConundrum In Z4, this only applies to Craft as well as Ragnarok bosses. Other Z4 bosses get new attacks if the weather is set in their favor.

@@lfarevalom Okami just took the japanese folklore and myths as the basis for the setting, so it's no brainer.

In fact, the "real X is evil" scenario was the original plan.

According to the developers, the real Megaman X was originally intended to be the main villain of Megaman Zero but was later changed at the very last second because the developers knew that the idea of X being evil might displeased fans of the original Megaman X games so they replaced the real X with copy X, personally i think they've made the right decision overall

@Liam McCafferty I know Ciel can't die since it's not part of the gameplay. In the context of the story, however, she would've been dead after taking all those reckless attacks.

In general, even in the X games, Zero is generally agreed to be the harder playthrough between the 2. You know why? Because X can cheese with range whereas Zero has to get up and personal and risk damage. Using the Z-Saber is harder than using Buster for this same reason. Risk Reward and all that. Using Buster is easier because you can focus more on dodging while still having the range advantage. Consider the Guard Orochi. It's not shown here, but its A/S Skill is very simple, but is one of the trickest one in the game. In between changing heads, it fires 3 pellet shots from its core. Using Buster, you can easily dodge while returning fire. Using the Saber, you'll need to risk getting shot in the face for a chance to even hit its core.

Especially since this dude clearly doesn't go out of his way to grind the z buster

@@WaywardRobot I noticed it'd be a way to keep the rings falling on one side only so one could use the other side to dish out some damage, but you risk getting caught and being pushed to the pit.

@@L4z1n3zz the rings have sound cue so you can avoid them. Plus the pillars are the main way to avoid the fire beam

@@zf4152 Or that he likes to use the best weapon in the game aside from speedrunning. Bosses in this game weren't made with the Z Buster in mind, so it's hella good.

Using the z-saber is a sure fire way to get hit and that's not in his agenda apparently

Damage wise it sucks though. This is a personal gripe but since I play on phone It's hard for me to keep a charge and jump at the same time

I always like the buster for secondary attacks. I've never been able to pull off insane combos, so this is the next best thing.
