the amount of RNG involved in that fight and its sheer speed/difficulty would make it absolutely brutal to perform on stream lmao which would make it all the more exciting to see as an incentive

While I understand rewarding loyalty to the series by offering a cumulative effect from Zero 3 to Zero 4, in ZX, this is really not handled well. OX armor is essentially an ULTIMATE ARMOR. I should not need other games to achieve that.

16:15 I died a number of times on Fistleo. I’m always amazed by the high speed, pixel perfect assaults on boss characters.

Incredible run and commentary and really cute cat Edit: I thought it when i saw the black and white cat near the ending but they are actually 2 cats =)

My main problem in this game was Pandora/ Prometheus battles and getting the Area K s subtank. By the end of the game, I used just 2 sub tanks and beat the game. My only problem was getting through the boss rush without using my reserve energy

I don't know why there isn't a speedun of all Megaman Zero 3 and 4 bosses using the GBA link feature yet. I would love to see this

Is Model X not allowed for speedruns? I never see the form pop up as an option when they switch, and I figured having the form available would be helpful in certain areas.

It only shows up as an option in the postgame after having unlocked ZX. In between beating Giro and Serpent it is not available sadly.

You can't use X anymore after you get model Z and they fuse into ZX (which really just plays like Zero in Mega Man Zero, despite the name). You only unlock it again after clearing the game with BOTH characters.

You lose access to model X after gaining model ZX

you need to beat the game twice to unlock it so they can’t use it

@@RiderOmega You don't need post game for it. You just need to have beaten the game with both characters. I don't remember if you need to keep two cleared save files at all times in order to keep it for future new game playthroughs, but it IS still accessible after you get ZX. Now, if the speedrun rules consider that as not a true "new game" run with model X available I'd totally get it, but I never got a clear answer before I commented.
