Mega Man ZX, Model OX No Damage Run on hard mode; stylish quick kill vs Omega... and a lot of suffering following it. This run is NOT played on the Legacy Collection, and is instead played on an emulator with a code enabled to play with OX in a full playthrough. Below is the Action Replay Code to enable it. To use it, simply open up the cheats tab of whatever emulator you're using, and input the code as shown exactly (spaces and all). Once the code's active, simply press Select + A to auto-swap to OX. There. Can't say I didn't give anyone the code now:

Funnily enough, the Ranbu (Omega's 7-Piece Combo just in case) is a direct reference to the Raging Demon. Akuma is such an inspirational fighter. Looking at you, Magma Dragoon.

I find it really cool that Walking Slash links into Standing Slash. I’ve no idea why.

All attacks are given a sequence number. If you follow up on an attack that has a higher number in the sequence, you can chain the attacks. Walking slash precedes standing slash 1 in the sequence, so that's why they can connect. That's how it works IIRC.

@@Yunjuwo ZX doesn't use Hit Priority as far as I know, since you can do things like link Rolling Slash into grounded Saber combos. That, or I'm an idiot. It's strange they thought buffing Walking Slash was needed since in Z3/4 it's 1, same as standing slash.

So I came back to this video and realized you can fight Omega again after getting the stone. Just exit the area and reenter, he'll keep respond whenever you return to this area. Truly indeed Area N(ightmare)

I don't know why they put that in, but "In me power" is one of my favorite lines from Tom and Jerry, and I'm so glad you used it. Such a perfect moment for it, too. Also, the End my Suffering segment is longer than the run. Hoooooooooooo boy.

Honestly, probably the most annoying part is the randomness of his AI. I had fights with this prick where he spammed his recovery move almost back to back and fights where his first move was Raging Demon me repeatedly. Probs to no damaging this one.

Weird... But i'd take it. Omega is more like the Boss of them all. One that you can't read as much as the others. Because he is so freaking fast. I hate all of it. Except for those projectiles but once Omega does his jump, it will damage you. Most of his attacks are not readable. But Omega has a lot of movements and attacks that you need to memorize in such a freaking thing. How i wish it would be easier if that combo was gone but... *sigh* I have played him against Model ZX and its not good since Model ZX only has a rolling slash unlike Omega that has so many freaking s&$@ going on. It had taken me 3 hours for me to actually beat him with Model ZX. And less if i use Model X. But you guessed it, i will die because of the combo and emptied Tanks.

I’m not saying you should try if you still have trouble with ZX alone, but I tried a personal Guardian challenge, and it’s dozens of times tougher. *No charge attacks*, purely showcase their combat prowess, Overdrive allowed. One Guardian per fight (Model locked). Except you actually NEED Overdrive, and need to use it sparingly to increase your attack power! Put that in tandem with manipulating his AI (hopefully), which is different with each Model (because of how each Model fights), and it becomes a living hell. Coaxing him to do a different move consistently - to survive - is half the battle, literally. The other half of *that* half is coaxing him so he doesn’t do his healing move! If that keeps happening and you’re out of Overdrive, the battle becomes that much harder, because you have to survive longer. It’s a ridiculously hard but satisfying challenge, but if ZX is the best of all guardians combat-wise, then you absolutely have to practice with ZX more before attempting this one.

@@celibel5686 I tried it in Normal Mode and it was a nightmare, literally. I have no problem with Model PX and FX because of their ranged weapon but surviving is the hard part still with those Guardians especially LX which needs to be in water if you want to use her abilities. Guardians do have the abilities they have but against someone who is actually a Hard AI, it is a really pain challenge. I tried it in Normal Mode first but its getting harder really when he heals or do his combo thing. That is just Normal Mode though but it is a little hard for me. I'm still trying to assess what is the good approach depending on what Guardian Model i use.

Audacious Mori PX and FX are definitely easier- LX might be the hardest of them all, especially if you play aggressively with sabers only, like I do. But just a general tip! Your position relative to Omega has a significant sway in how he reacts. What’s important is being where you are when he’s *acting a certain way*- he won’t change behaviors solely because you’re in the air, which is the harder part. It’s merely just a window for influence, and where you are and what you do will just create the window- coaxing is a different (but next) step entirely. If he’s chasing you down from a large enough distance, you can coax him into doing a Rising Slash by being in the air during his dash, or getting close enough to bait the attack, which is your biggest, safest opportunity for combos. If you are or get too close when he’s approaching you (a certain way, not sure how to describe it since I’ve since forgotten), he will almost always do his healing move. Keep a considerate distance to coax him into chasing you, and link it into tricking him into his Rising Slash. That’s where being so aggressive is the biggest downfall- that distance is continuously being closed over and over again.
