I saw someone legit get offended people kept asking them to react to the explaination, thinking people thought they were stupid or something. Like my man hasn’t played Pokémon since gen 5 and also didn’t get the video so obviously people want you to watch the explaination. Even for Pokémon veterans there’s hidden things in the explanation that they didn’t understand in the video. Come on man it’s more content isn’t that what you want 😒 with so many people asking rest assured it’ll get views if that’s the concern

"Fun" fact: Mega evolutions only got described as painful for the pokemon in Sun/Moon and Ultra Sun/Moon, when they were originally intruded in X/Y and continued into Omega Ruby/Alpha Saphire, they described not as painful, but as the pokemon gaining more power through the bond with its trainer. This was changed solely because one of the lead devs in Sun/Moon HATED mega evolution (they just didn't get them and hate the concept) and made the change to "punish" people for liking mega evolutions. This dev also did everything in their power to keep mega evolutions out of pokemon, which is why they haven't appeared in games since Ultra Sun/Moon, despite being a popular mechanic that was well received by fans.

Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo X/Y have the most amount of stats in total meaning they’re literally the strongest (but not as strong as Eternamax) and stronger than Arceus

The actual reason tyranitar takes no damage is because of the pokedex entry for tyranitar in Pokémon gold that states “tyranitar the armor Pokémon it’s body cannot be harmed by any atack so it is always eager for a challenge” and I mean since it mega it’s even stronger so it just laughing at all stacks thrown at him in fact he only died after he was launched into space up by Heracross and couldn’t breath

Fun fact: in pokemon lore, rayquaza didn't need a mega evolution to absolutely own groudon and kyogre, it's so strong that it completely decimated their primal forms, which, is what was shown in the legendary and mythical pokemon battle royal, so, making it mega just increased its over the top power, to the point where almost nothing could handle it

which is why alakazam is the one stopping him, since alakazam is one of the smartest mon and can look into the future, which literally hard counters anything gengar can do, and he's stronger than gengar in a 1v1 due to higher speed satk and psychic>poison

Definitely Mewtwo, his Mind control abilities alongside his ability to create life wiping storms without Mega Evolutions makes this pretty easy for him. Add onto that his recovery attack which has saved from near death and his teleportation and all of the others are completely outclassed. It also helps that Mewtwo is also one of the only Pokemon that can Mega Evolve without a trainer.

Man, that movie must not be as popular as it used to be. The joke at the end of the animation and explanation is that GameFreak removed Mega Evolution in Gen8, so they sent their Men in Black spooks out to make the kid forget about it. Also, yes, GameFreak has a mindset where “wElL, tHaT fEaTuRe BeLoNgS tO tHaT oThEr GaMe, AnD pEoPlE wOn’T bUy ThE nEw GaMe iF iT hAs OlD fEaTuRes.” Because why iterate and improve when you can just make cheap gimmick after cheap gimmick with no rhyme or reason?

IMO Pokemon Reborn is quite the experience. A bit grimdark for some people, though it has been the best rom I've played so far. Next up is Pokemon Insurgence, and I've recently given Xenoverse: Per Aspera Ad Astra a go as well. I am really looking forward to Pokemon Azurite as well, though the type match-up favors Steel types more then ever before. :/
