There is so much just laying around, I would need to add pockets to my cargo pants!🤣🤗 Great video, thank you for sharing the research. If you have heard of the movie "One Flew Over the Coocoo's Nest" that asylum is in Salem, Oregon about 20 miles from me. It unfortunately was remodeled recently. Take care everyone!

I'm sure I saw you step over a few pieces of spongeware! I was shouting noooooooooo. It's my favourite find. I loved the hospital shard also. I had a potter round our old local tip today, it's addictive stuff. If he setting a tent up for a week there!!

I like how you open this video; first the overview, then speaking face to face to us, and then the finds! Add to that the music . . . I wonder, though, why the glass was never melted down and recycled, but just left dumped?

I think my favourite find was the helicopter 🚁 😂 I liked that bottle near the beginning, the square one. Tea pot was nice. Shame the handle was missing 🫖 you need bigger bags haha

What a marvelously fun time you had at this massive dump. "I need another bag." I lost count of the number of times you said that. Hopefully you can go back for more good finds there soon. I noticed you picked up and left a couple of items I'd seen in recent videos by other mudlarkers. I especially liked the 2 teapots you kept and the Sago jar. Good to see your face Adam.

Hi Adam that was a wonderful dump..so much to choose from. Take 2 bags next time! When you`re panning your camera around the dump can you go slowly so I can see what you are seeing? unfortunatly for us so much is blurred. Didn`t you want those beautiful bits of colourful china? Hi lake frog! Yes I’ve tried but it seems to make the bottles go cloudy & the bace of the bottles go all powdery… perhaps the glass is too “sick” to remove haha. I’ll keep trying 🙂⚓️⭐️

I felt sad after watching this video. I know you were only reading what it said regarding the fire but some people were put into lunatic asylums who were perfectly sane just like you and I. So just be mindful when referring to them as lunatics. I still love your videos even though I couldn’t finish watching tonight’s one.

It’s the horror and sad part of the history 😕 I really hope history does not repeat itself. I was reading a document from the Maidstone & Oakwood Hospital itself. Some pretty harsh words those old health officers used in there reports 😫 If I find anything similar Kate I’ll try not use the word. 🙂 I am glad you enjoyed, wishing you a safe and happy week ahead. It was in Maidstone Kent, but it’s no longer there as the farmer has scattered the dump across a field sadly.
