Wow thanks so much for uploading this it’s exactly as I remember it as a child living then in the near by White Swan Pub. My Grandad used to take me watching and walking around here all the time as a kid. I remember the constant sound of 20s and roar of intercity trains. This is so amazing to see this again I can’t thank you enough ! Wow

@@MegaCullie hey Kev no sadly it’s not I saw it decline over the years and seeing locos I loved scrapped there was heart breaking. Along with all the industry that has gone. I seem to remember there where many more sidings opposite the shed across where the local train swings around to head toward St. Helens. That seems to have long gone. It’s also confirmed I do indeed remember many classes of loco my mate said I would never have seen as they where not based there but I remember all kinds used to end up at Wigan. I remember one of the shed workers Jimmy Carruthers taking me for a tour with my grandad that was amazing. Many thanks for these I’ll be watching regularly. Subscribed :)
