There's another Megadeth album you didn't listen to that I think you should go back and play. It's not a normal ALBUM album, it's an EP that contains songs that Megadeth made for various movie soundtracks. It's not a compilation in the same sense that Greatest Hits one are. They had quite a few songs they've done for soundtrack, so they took those songs and officially released it as a project of it's own and now it kinda goes in line with their primary albums. It's called Hidden Treasures and it came out after Youthanasia and before Cryptic Writings. Even though it's place in the discography is between those 2 albums, the songs on it span over several years so listening to that last or out of order doesn't really throw off the marathon. I hope you do that one, there's some awesome songs on there and I'm curious to see if they would be ones you could rock with or not.

Been followin ya since last summer and it's crazy how far you've come. I honestly look forward to your videos and get frustrated when you dont - getting a Sunday video (twice too haha) was a treat. You said you were doin Devin Townsend next - which I'm game for - but a ton of people are begging for Lamb of God. Either way I'll be happy, but maybe rain-check Townsend and consider Lamb of God? I guarantee you'll dig em.

The drummer on this album this album is Chris Adler, the drummer for Lamb of God. This is just a small sample of what he's capable of. He really gets intricate with LOG. Please, please, please do a Lamb of God marathon next.

To me, this album was a return to the sounds of the classic 'Deth albums like 'Peace Sells', "Rust' and 'Countdown'. It just sounded like going back home after so many years not finding a clear path. IMHO it's their best album since 'Cryptic Writings' but it's also a bit too self-referential for me. Sounds like Mustaine wanted to play it megasafe. I still enjoy the record though, it has more memorable moments than 'Endgame' or 'Thirteen' for me.
@hugo757226 жыл бұрын
You should listen to Sepultura - Roots or Chaos AD. A lot groove, e riffs that you would love.

I love this album. Their best since Countdown in my opinion. I love Endgame but I think Dystopia blows it out of the water. I have the edition that comes with the virtual reality goggles and the CD. Money well spent. Definitely important to support your artists. The soloing in this album is phenomenal. Same with the drumming. I think Dave and David sound great too. I have a Megadeth collection video on my channel if anyone is interested. I would suggest doing 311, Faith No More, or Black Sabbath next. Anyways, I enjoyed this reaction. Very happy that you uploaded this. Interesting choice of transitions.

I'd love if you gave Norwegian death/black metal a go. Bands like Satyricon and Dimmu Borgir, but sadly their early albums are pretty bad audio wise and you would have a very bad listening experience 3-4 albums in.
