Midtfyns Festival was a famous rock festival which was held in the town of Ringe on the island of Funen in Denmark. The festival was first held in 1976 and continued to be held until 2004 where nearly 28 years of festival history ended before the 2004 festival started due to declining ticket sales. Midtfyns Festival was many years the main rival of Roskilde Festival in terms of being the the biggest music event in Northern Europe. In 2005 there was an attempt to revive the festival but the plan failed. Here is a list of some of the international bands and artists who performed in the festival through the years: Aerosmith (US), Alice Cooper (US), B.B. King (US), Blur (UK), Bob Geldof (IE), Bon Jovi (US), Bryan Adams (CA), Chuck Berry (US), Coldplay (UK), David Bowie (UK), Iggy Pop (US), Kool & the Gang (US), Lenny Kravitz (US), Megadeth (US), Miles Davis (US), Moby (US), Motörhead (UK), No Doubt (US), R.E.M. (US), Rage Against the Machine (US), Robbie Williams (UK), Roxette (SE), Carlos Santana (MX), Suede (UK), Tom Jones (UK) and Willie Nelson (US).

+Jacqui Harvey Yes, he said Nick. If you can't even name the most important people in one of Heavy metal's most famous bands you should't be allowed to interview them, but as this is an interview for an awful German pop music channel I'm not surpried the interviewer hasn't got any clue.
