Mustaine: "'Tornado of Souls' was written the day I broke up with my fiancé; it explains what I went through, how I sprang out of it. I thought my existence was in that relationship - I was trapped in the eye of a tornado, and if I stepped out of line, I'd be blown to oblivion. No more whirlwind romances for me. If I do get back in that situation, I'm gonna be very aware now and check the weather before I get involved."

Watching you guys become metal heads these past couple years has truly been a treat and an honor, metal has been given a bad reputation due to the satanic panic of the 80's and radio exec's not playing a majority of the metal music that exists due to "moral concerns". Metal was bringing up the issues of environmentalism, social justice, corporate greed, and political corruption over 30 years before anyone even considered them real issues, Metal has ALWAYS been political and it is reflected by its listeners who are(for the most part) intelligent, thoughtful, well educated people who are open to anyone(regardless of race, creed, or color) who enjoys the music, energy, and message of metal. Once metal enters you heart it never leaves, it changes you and your perspective on the world. Welcome to the community gentlemen, you are one of us now.

I think it's the other way around. His vocal colour is really good, it's just that due to his minimal training and professional guidance in singing he uses his voice the wrong way. If you listen to Back in the Day where for some reason he seems to put a lot more effort into his singing it sounds amazing! Also he uses his nose too much to sing and that makes some parts of his singing sound wimpy.

Dave was never a singer, he reluctantly took voice duty since they could never find any proper singer for the band. So he doesnt sing so much as he complains vocally, if that makes sense. In any case, the whole album is a pure masterpiece. Every song must be listened multiple times to get the many dimensions, riffs, rythm changes, and incredibly musicianship that went in them. That was their summit and it's one of the main summits of heavy metal.
