+philipinoboy13 They appear once you viewed the event after entering the heart dimension. After that, the map will pop up the main quest icon and the optional ones across, of which there are four of them. Create roads to reach those four optional quests to get the normal ending. Choosing to ignore them and proceeding to the main quest would net you this ending instead.

I think this a lot darker than Conquest one. At least Conquest feel more bitter sweet like good ending of some serious game. But this one is obliviously Bad End even it’s a ending of Warcraft of Max Payne.

I realized that after I watched the entire series, but they just make me think of Kurome's illusion ability. Also, it brings an unnaturally dark theme to the neptunia series, which is interesting.

@@noobdude5933 Tell where was the stable portal from the true end of Victory/Rebirth 3? Nepgear went straight into despair when their big sisters got corrupted but all they had to do was send a message for help and then the good guys will suddenly have five extra goddesses from the Ultradimension as reinforcements. If you take that into account then you'll realize that this situation wouldn't even be truly an ending since the situation could still go either way. Heck, Mk2/Rebirth 2 started out with a situation that was almost as bad yet they managed to pull through.

@@klade5031 I understand your point, but you gotta understand that they have their own nations and their own dimension to take care of. Who knows what kinda disaster Ultra Dimension was in during these events? They can't risk dying in another dimension and leaving their own nation to rot. Neptune was gone from Planeptune for days and it fell into ruin in V/Rebirth 3, if you don't remember. Plutia wouldn't do the same mistake.

Yeah and even after I played Worldend Syndrome and got it's bad ending, it's one of those games that you know you messed up and hell even then in the first playthrough of the game, your first ending is the Worst Ending cause you get that ending automatically on your first playthrough, doesn't matter what you did in your choices in the prologue, you're screwed.

may as well ad the latest fire emblem game over at the final fight, really dark too and that is a recent one, glade they are still using these dark endings/game overs

@@auser4649 I believe so. I do think the type of strife she wants to see though is the last few citizens of gamindustri dying in the gutter as the dimensions fuse. If her dream of Heartdimension is what she desires happening to hyperdimension then there is going to be very little of gamindustri remaining intact. I believe that could be case given Kurome says the line "to make this a reality" when referring to the completely destroyed heartdimension.

I think it's better if there is multiple unwinnable battle against the CPU that decrease Nepgear's party as story advance, complete with cg for every battle showing the death of the member (prize if manage to win, but with losing scenario like Yellow Heart 1st battle) so u got clear image of desperation.

Conquest was way worse because the writers were still giving it there all and made an ending that was not hopeful but well-written. I don't know if I'm proud of it but watching an LP of that end really made me a Neptunia fan. Because I saw so much story potential and it gave me so many ideas, I could only love the series more. I had already thought the game's lore ran much deeper than shown but that end drove it home. Now I have a doc full of various ideas I record.

Conquest was so evil because it came out of fucking nowhere. Come Megadimension and the devs know that we know they can be evil, so they made this ending even more disturbing to make up for having lost the element of surprise. Both are evil in their own way.

+Melrian Either the True ending or the normal ending has to be canon. This ending is similar to the conquest ending from MK2, it was pretty much put in the show what happens when they fail to save the 4 CPUs.

I would have liked a continuation from the Conquest ending as well but I know it wouldn't happen. It seems that the Neptunia game's bad endings always leave space for your imagination. That's why I actually like them.

@@rougedragonwhiteflame3990 there are four green exclamation marks in the heart dimension just go to those spots before you tackle the dungeon that opens up along with the green exclamation marks then you'll get cutscenes and then you're done you've avoided the bad ending and can continue the game stress free (until you realise you got the normal ending and have to do the true ending which is a whole other beast)

In part 2, You have to view the daydream events for Histoire, Blanc, Noire, and Vert. After that be on the path for Ascension ending, and have 60% shares in Planeptune, and 40% shares for the other nations, when you beat the final boss of the Ascension Ending(Use Share Usage Down scouts for an easier time saving shares)

Kurome kidnapped the CPU's at the end of part 2 (This game is split into 3 parts) Nepgear and friends go into Zero Dimension and meet with Uzume to try and find Kurome before following Kurome to Heart Dimension after saving UD Neptune from Arfoire she leads them to Kurome but the dreams of the CPU's open up as well, if you ignore the dreams and go straight to Kurome, this happens.

+hafizh nobita No Nepgear had nothing to do with them being evil, it was Kurome who corrupted them. As soon as you enter Heart dimension in the game, there are 4 dream events that you can view, by watching them you will be able to save all 4 CPUs when you reach this part, if you ignore the 4 dream events, you will get this ending.
