Күн бұрынMegafobia at Oakwood Theme Park is back open following an extension refurbishment from The Gravity Group. I was invited down to Oakwood to go and take some laps on Megafobia ahead of its grand reopening, and to give feedback to the park about the changes that have been made.
Megafobia is now back open at Oakwood following the refurbishment.

OMG the way you flew out of your seat on the backwards POV, on the third or fourth hill! 😂 Looks so fun. Thanks for filming it for us. Hope to make it down there one day but it’s a looong drive from Yorkshire. Probably quicker to fly from Leeds to Cardiff 😅

I so want to get to this park, you said 5 hour drive home, I've just checked. From Edinburgh it's seven and a half hours 😭 think I need to make a wee trip around a couple of parks on the way there and back

Sounds like it's pretty essential to stomach the journey! Will hold out until after the big holidays now but a must do towards the back end of the year for me.

First trip today and I'd say, with a moist rail, megafobia is the best woodie in the country. Today was very moist tbf.

Looks like a good new coaster even though its not, Gravity group have done a good job with retrack, but after watching Coaster Crazy's video yesterday, think it needs a theme around it more? Thinking maybe a mountain, phantom or something? To make a story around it? Think it would be even better in my opinion & something I would love to see in future? But from looks nice good looking and thrilling coaster, wanna ride one day. Cheers for filming, uploading and sharing, enjoyed and look forward to more videos in future on this channel. 😀👍

The big question is; is it best woody in the country? It's great that the countries best woodies are being given the treatment they deserve, credit to the parks for investing the money in these classics (and you can add the two major steel coaster revamps in the "classic" category too).

Great vlog and pov, looks like we'll have to make the trip down from North Wales when we get chance. Like others have said, glad they kept the old trains, wish they had on Tonnere de Zeus, think the Timberliner Trains have ruined that ride.

Im going to Oakwood theme park this thursday with my friends and i am bringing a gopro with me and I know that you said in your 2019 vlog that you are allowed to record on the rides and i checked on the oakwood website and it said that it isnt permitted and i was wondering if you got in any trouble or something for using gopros (also can you comment on my future oakwood video?)

On ride filming hasn’t been permitted since 2021. We were given permission on Friday because this was an out of hours event.

The coaster looks amazing, that whistling is annoying though. Maybe you don't hear it on board. Great to see the Gravity Group working on this coaster.

Least it has kept its original trains and not running the awful timberliner trains. Looks like a mad coaster now but the question is grand national or megafobia
