Here's a tip when you have a ton of weapons but you want to switch to a certain one: Each weapon slot (the number keys by default) are assigned to different types of weapons. Weapon slot 1 is the buster, weapon slot 5 has most of the explosive weapons like Ballade Cracker and Drill Bomb as well as other powerful weapons like Super Arm, weapon slot 7 is all the shield weapons, etc.
