Aside from mispronouncing Bass and misusing the word "cyborg", you left out a lot of important details and misconstrued information. -Proto Man had an unstable nuclear core, which Dr. Light had opted to fix, but Proto Man feared doing so would change his character. That's why he ran away from Light Labs. -We aren't given any evidence to suggest that the creation of Rock and Roll was a cooperative effort between Light and Wily. They were just meant as housekeeping robots for Dr. Light, which he created after Proto Man's disappearance. -Both Dr. Light and Dr. Wily received many non-specific awards for work in the fields of robotics, but Dr. Light didn't win the Nobel Peace Prize for Rock and Roll. Rather, he received the award for the creation of six Robot Masters, designed for labor in industrial fields of work. Wily was tired of being upstaged by Dr. Light, and, upon realizing that the robots they were building served greater purpose, stole and reprogrammed the robots, and began attacking cities with his robot army. -Proto Man was a pretty big part of the story in MM3. He fought Mega Man under the guise of Break Man, and would later rescue Mega Man when Wily's Castle was collapsing after Gamma's defeat. Wily was presumed dead until the events of MM4. -In MM5, Dr. Cossack, the not-villain from the previous game, atones for his actions by helping Mega Man in Light's absence, and creates Beat, Mega Man's robo-bird companion in the games following. -Dark Man wasn't identical to Proto Man, he just used Proto Man as a disguise. A convincing one, at that. -Mega Man didn't compete in the World Robot Tournament. Wily, masquerading as Mr. X, took control of the robots that competed in the tournament after it had taken place. -Bass didn't break Wily out of prison. Wily had four master robots stowed away to break him out in the event that he was imprisoned. Bass was working in secrecy under Wily to gain Mega Man's trust, only to ransack Light's lab and attempt to destroy Mega Man. He fails. -Wily didn't reprogram the Evil Robot in Mega Man 8, nor did Dr. Light reprogram Duo. Duo is an extraterrestrial space police robot tasked with finding and destroying "Evil Energy", which is why he was pursuing the Evil Robot in the first place. Wily just harnessed the Evil Robot's energy, but we don't know what became of the robot itself. Duo also rescues Mega Man after the collapse of Wily Tower. -Left out the story of Mega Man & Bass (which is considered part of the main series, as seen in MM9). A robot called King attacks the Robot Museum and tries to incite a robot rebellion. It was revealed King was being controlled by Wily, and Mega Man defeats them both. -Before Wily's death (presumed, it's been rumored that Wily is actually Serges from Mega Man X2), he worked on the Maverick Virus and a robot called Zero, a successor to Bass. However, Zero was unstable, and so Wily had him sealed inside a capsule for decades until being found by a group of Reploids.

It's pronounced base. Like rock and roll, it keeps with the music theme. I'm sure I'm not the first nor will I be the last to say this.

Ah yes, my favorite "blaster"...it'll be "tacky" selection, but it would be the Metal Blade (MM2). It was so freaking OP against all but select monsters. But esthetically , my favorite was the heat ray (also MM2) -- it had 3 power levels and looked cool when flying at it's target. The downside was, like the bubble lead, it was not practically effective against most common monsters. But when I hit Woodman with a full power blast from the heat ray...blam (one shot).

Wait, whoa! That MM8 section was entirely wrong. The super robots fighting in space part was right, but not what came after. The good one was found and taken care of by Light, then went out to fight evil. The evil one was found in its energy form, and that evil energy was used as fuel while also tainting Wily's personality, enhancing the evil aspects and suppressing the good. Favorite MM game is a bit of a toss-up, but X: Command Mission has a special spot in my heart, and my favorite blaster is probably X-Collider, the claw-like buster of X-Fire from MMX:CM.

Update to this: Wily remembers an old creation of his from his college years (the Double Gear System) and kidnaps eight robots to test his invention. Light installs the original prototype of Wily’s Double Gear into Megaman, and Megaman defeats the eight Robot Masters and Wily.
