MegaMan Maker has been in a blast the last update, and it seems that it will continue to be that way, as the next update 1.8 looks so promising so far, and today, I will just analyze all of the assets that were announced by our MegaMan Maker developers. Hope you enjoy!

This update will introduce a lot of cool interactive objects. I can't wait to see what level builders create with all of them. Keep developing this game devs!

Hoping that this update can hopefully reignite my interest in megamaker at least for a while to complete a level pack I've been working on occasionally. Hell lately I myself haven't been playing it as much recently. Hoping 1.8 can be a great update for that. (Still waiting to see if we get different boss gates tho. The grey ones are really stale and I'm surprised we haven't gotten any other variations even)

its weird how all the games have the same bossgate despite there being color differences with them and megaman 8 even has a completely different boss gate in it's game so

@AwesomeCat Badly implemented attack patterns, mostly. It wouldn’t be anywhere near as bad if he didn’t go off screen, if the Ice Wall actually blocked the Wave Burner properly, and he properly telegraphed the end point of his sliding burn instead of the one-frame twitch he does. Quick Man has one major glitch that ruins his fight. Burner Man has *three* if you count offscreening.

I think either Cold or Magic are going to be next,and probably one more MM8 boss (maybe Tengu since he also appears in MM and Bass).

@8:55 I don't think they're focusing on just &Bass for 1.8. Anniversary video had Targets which is MM10 content, Explosive Crates were announced as MM8 content, Hot Plates are MM11 content. @9:10 The final patch (when the Dev team actually finished 1.7) was version 1.7.5 in May of 2021. We are closing in on the *actual* one year mark (next month!).

I would love to see some option that allows you to pick harder versions of enemies and bosses form megaman 9 and 10, because they behave differently in hard mode

WreckingPrograms resigned, but since the team wanted to continue the game and the project was not his alone, he passed the torch to Luigi and Goldstorm after the team selected them as the new project leaders.

If megaman v is with this, I want to see Uranus & Mercury as the boss reps, as Uranus's rockfall attack should be altered to be kinda like grenade man's falling debrie but it one shots you. Also as a Extra boss excusive to the missilanious section, 8 Bit VectorMan.

I really hope the option to turn off enemy respawning is a feature. It would make open levels much easier to play. That and some non-lethal spike obstacles. 1.7 was great and I made 100 levels from it :)

My plans for MM12: Vinyl man:Sharp/Explosive/Speed. Weakness:Halo boomerang Dash woman:Speed/Explosive. Weakness:Controlled spear Angel woman:Sky. Weakness:Danger Punch Shock man:Electric/Psychic. Weakness:Vinyl satellite Trash man:Industrial/Fire. Weakness:Aimed laser Controller man:Playful/Electric/Psychic. Weakness:Laser blade Laser man:Psychic/Sharp/Electric. Weakness:Mirror Shield Spear man:Sharp/Historical. Weakness:Fire blade Now try to guess which robot master owns which weapon.

@@robbiewalker2831 It works REALLY well! I've never been the biggest fan of the cartoon theme, tbh, but hearing it in 8-Bit and without lyrics, it sounds just like a boss theme from the core series!

Granted what awaits for this update will surprise us when the 1.8 Trailer is coming out. I would wanted to see more content for MMV but that not happening since they got their own weapons,music,tilesets,bg,etc. Besides of Wily Wars/Wily Tower would been another big thing as we hope for something we can enjoy but maybe in the future.

Well if megaman & bass had 6 original rm's They should make a New robot master which is basically Astro Man 2.0 Synth Woman, a Rehash of MM&B'S astro man fight, besides He's already in Megaman Maker & is based on his debut moveset, Synth woman should take notes from megaman fully charged's Hypno Woman design wise. As shes basically genderbent Astro Man.
