The Fact that the developer is overhauling the game to make it play more like an X series game makes me absolutely adore this mod

This is looking phenomenal so far, and the fact Yellow Devil is actually going to be in this mod (something I know fans of the vanilla MMM have wanted for a long time) is amazing. I truly can't wait for the day when we MIGHT start getting some of the actual Maverick bosses in this mod (though, especially looking at X2, I know not every Maverick would be able to fit within the confines of MMM, especially the ones whose fights take place across more than just a single square-shaped room).

Ultimate Armour replacing Super Adapter is an interesting choice. If we can get Jet Adapter and Power Adapter to be replaced with Falcon Armour and Gaea Armour respectively, it would be perfect imo

Finally, axl will be in the mod I just hope we get vile for protoman, or vile as a boss soon

There is so much changes in this mod, that it makes it seen like a whole different game all together

so will this get its own performance fixes? I know that 1.8 of classic megamaker is supposed to improve performance for big levels, so is this going to take advantage of those changes once 1.8 is out, or is red gonna do their own?
