Okay, I have a question: What do you have against "utility weapons"? Strike Chain, Lighting Web and Crystal Wall aren't supposed to be used offensively, they are supposed to be used to complete puzzles. Strike Chain helps you climb platform that are too far away to reach. Lighting Web is used to wall-jump to either far away or higher platforms. Crystal Wall is used to get items like recovery capsules and rare metals that let you further upgrade the characters. Simply because they deal low damage doesn't mean they are bad, after all, they have other uses. Another thing, bad footage for X7 and X8. Unlike the footage of the other 6 games, those doesn't show the "weapon" in action, all it does is show the "weapon" being used.

Shotgun ice is alright on SNES. In Maverick Hunter X it's incredibly weak.

Megaman x7: the entire weapon set

Shotgun Ice is Freeze Cracker + Nerfed Oil Slider. Strike Chain... is... uh... Gravity Well is BHB or Flash Bomb and Gravity Hold. but kinda worse. Lighting Web is unique. i guess ? Goo Shaver is a nerfed Water Wave. + Buffed? Block Dropper. Ice Burst is technically Concrete Shot but with more attacks. Gaea Shield is unique. i think. Crystal Wall is Ice Wall receving a heart attack.

The interesting part about Strike Chain, it is second form Sigma's weakness.

Shotgun ice is good weapon

To be honest, I found Shotgun Ice really useful in certain situations, including the Armored Armadillo part with all the slopes, which is the only way to get the Hadouken. When paired with Chameleon Sting's charged Cloaking attack, you can avoid most of the enemies. Lightning web is EXTREMELY useful in my opinion too because in MMX4 they didn't have armor like the Gaea Armor (MMX5) and the Shadow Armor (MMX6) that allowed you to walk on spikes and other damaging areas. It is crucial to completing the Fourth Armor. This is just my opinion though.

•X1: Fire Wave is used for one boss and one puzzle, but outside of that is just a backup to storm tornado at best. It burns thru ammo very quickly, has short range, and doesn’t even work in areas with water. Shotgun ice at least works on multiple bosses and the charged shot is useful for some items and level tricks. •X2: I would say crystal hunter but it’s basically an insta-kill on all small enemies and some mid-size enemies while also making platforms of them and giving energy refills when you dash into them which means the weapon basically has infinite ammo. The charged version is terrible but it can be ignored no issue. Strike chain has some fun speedrun gimmicks but otherwise is inferior to speed burner in both forms so I will have to say strike chain is worst. •X3: G. Well can remove any flying enemies which is at least more useful than whatever P. Bomb is supposed to do. P. Bomb doesn’t have any puzzle use nor is it all that important for the boss it works on either. Easily the least useful weapon of X3’s lot. •X4: I’d argue Soul Body is the least effective weapon of the bunch. Uncharged version could be handy for taking out low HP enemies as you traverse and it shuts down Peacock almost completely, but it is held back by very low ammo and the charged version is almost as useless as charged Crystal Hunter since you can still take damage while controlling your copy which doesn’t do great damage itself. •X5: Tri-Thunder seems to be the least useful as it just has competitors which can do the uncharged version’s job while also having an inconsistent charge shot as well. The ammo’s nice which is something I guess. •X6: Ice Burst has usefulness in the Gate stages and is actually really fun with the blade armor. Guard shell however is mediocre without abusing Zero’s bug on it. A counter shield which doesn’t even work on all projectiles and a mediocre charge that does weak damage makes it unreliable. X7: Splash laser ez. G. Shield is actually very useful in areas where you have to worry about a lot of enemy bullets, and even the wheel can work very well in 2D sections, but splash laser barely even works on the boss it beats. There is never a situation where you wanna use it outside of wanting to know what torture is like. X8: Melt creeper is probably THE worst crawling weapon. The name accurately describes the travel speed, low verticality and damage, and the charge isn’t impressive either. Also I don’t think you can even use it in the air if memory serves. Crystal wall at least has utility when charged.

Shotgun Ice can be shot in a way that both the shot and the debris hit your target, dealing huge ammounts of damage(unless it has I-frames). Also, Electric Spark is also as bad except for the charge shot. Strike Chain is a utility weapon. It's damage is also not THAT bad, but I guess the other weapons are just too powerful? I'll give you this one. Gravity Well has the best range, not inferior in everything compared to the others as you implied here, but I agree that it's the worst weapon just becuse it DOESN'T FUCKING AFFECT ANYTHING(almost anything). Looks cool to use thou Lightning Web is another utility weapon. It's not supposed to deal damage and it DEALS decent damage, so it's very good on that aspect. How is it worse than Double Cyclone or Twin Slasher?? Both weapons don't affect a lot of enemies, the former being clunky af and the latter being probably the least damaging weapon in the series-- when it deals damage at all. Yeah. Gel Shaver has a great Charge Attack, but it's main shot is so bad it doesn't even matter. Ice Burst is utility-- again. But I won't argue with this one because X6 is buggy and all the weapons seem to work differently than how they were meant to be used in the first place(basically: all over the place; hard to rank). But I still think Guard Shell is trash. Forgot how useless Gaea ramming Shield was. Agreed. At least Moving Wheel has range and doesn't last for less than 1 nanosecond. No way. Crystal Wall shields, deals great damage and also works as utility when charged. Do you seriously think Shadow Runner(almost no damage, bad homing) and friggin Shining Ray(clunkiest weapon to use, meh damage) are better? How in the hell? Good video, besides the weird picks

My least favorites per X game are: X1: Electric Spark (like the ice, only remotely useful when charged) X2: Strike Chain X3: Gravity Well X4: Twin Slasher....i guess. (I liked these weapons a lot) X5: Ground Fire (goo shaver also sucks) X6: Guard Shell X7: (all sucked by Gungaroo's Explosion) X8: Shining Ray

My Opinion: X1 Doesn't have any bad weapons to be honest, Shotgun Ice is pretty good for hitting multiple enemies on the screen, the one I personaly use the least is Homing Torpedo, my personal favorite is Storm Tornado with Fire Wave being a Close Second. X2 Also have a entirely good arsenal in my opinion, with that said... Strike Chain is not Weak! Actually is one of the best weapons in the game, and my personal favorite. It's strong against a alot of enemies and it can one shot enemies that even the second charged buster(Green shot) can't, it's also good for reaching different areas and grab goods that comes out of enemies, that's a good mix between offence and utility(that goes for almost the entire arsenal in this game). My least favorite weapon might as well be Magnet Mine, but only because it's the one I use the least, Still great for multi hits purposes and it's a strong weapon. X3 has a toss up between really good weapons and really bad ones, with this I have to agree with you, Gravity Well sucks, it's only good against flying enemies, and still it takes forever to kill them, Parasitic Bomb does a much better job in that department, the best weapon in my opinion has to be Spinning Blade, it's extremely powerful, basically a charge shot, shots pretty fast, and it's charged shot is the GIANT YOYO OF DEATH! With is basic a prototype of Charged Laser from X4. X4's Arsenal is pretty much underrated in my book, Lightning Web is a utility weapon, not a offence one, it can be used to get items out of reach and you can skip enemies and hazards with it, since X4 allows you to use your buster in conjunction with your weapons and you have unlimited ammo because of the head parts, that's expected. The Worst Weapon has to be Double Cyclone, it's extremely weak, and it doesn't have any utilities that other weapons can do better. Now for my favorites, I love Soul Body, RIsing Fire, Twin Slasher, my personal favorite might be a toss up between Ground Hunter and Aiming Laser, Ground Hunter is great against enemies on the ground(Duh!) and it's charged weapon can kill enemies before they reach the screen, Aiming Laser can be difficult to use, but using right it can kick butt, also the charged shot is EXTREMELY Powerful(Seriously it's broken!). X5's arsenal for consideration is stronger than X4 damage wise, with that said, Goo Shaver is Ground Hunter! It's the exact same weapon, there's nothing more to say about that, the charged shot is different, i still think Charged Ground Hunter is better. The Only bad weapon here in my opinion is Wing Spiral, it's strong, but a much slower and less practical Rising Fire. Tri Thunder, and Spike Ball, Great weapons but terrible Charge Shots, Flash Laser, terrible weapon but amazing charge shot, my favorite has to be Crescent Shot, Strong Regular shot and amazing charged shot for both offence and defense when enemies get closer they get eaten like popcorn, with Ground Fire being a Close Second. X6 in my opinion has an arsenal that comes close to be as good as X1 and X2, again, Ice Burst is a Utility weapon, not a offence one, it can be use to reach different areas and secrets, and it's charged shot while hard to use, it deals a lot of damage, and you can breaks ice floors too(Nightmare effect), X6 doesn't have any bad weapons my opinion, Ground Dash can hit lots of enemies on screen and it great against the Donuts from Blaze Heatnix's stage, Guard Shell is broken, especially with Blade Armor X, my least favorite weapon shockingly is Ray Arrow(Yeah...) Great Charge shot, but very weak and useless regular shot, it's weapon I use the least, my personal favorites are Yammark Option, Guard Shell and Magma Blade, Magma Blade is my favorite out of the Three, because it's strong, and the fire shots can go trough walls, and it's charged shot with quick charge is crazy!( Seriously, you can use another charge shot, while the previous one is still active!) X7 is weird....(Yeah no shit!) This game has some weapons that are extremely weak and useless, some that are shameful copies of previous weapons from previous games(Moving Wheel and Sniper Missile) and some extremely broken ones! Gaea Shield is ok, very weak, basically a crappy Guard Shell, has a decent charge shot with is strong and you can use it to fall into the enemies in front of you, Circle Blaze could have been a great weapon, but it's just to weak! Wind Cutter might be the worst for me because it's weak and the projectiles are to small, and the goddamn thing just circles you at the end for no reason and it does nothing to your defenses. Explosion is great, and Strong, but has a pathetic short range, and small ammo makes it unpractical to use, Volt Tornado is one of the best weapons, it's Strong(Almost Broken), a gigantic electric tornado that protects you and follows your enemies, and an amazing charged shot that creates a eletric shield and turns enemies into items, honest one of the best weapons in the franchise, but my personal favorite has to be Splash Laser, don't let these bubbles fool you, they might be made with Kryptonian Acid of something, this weapon is BROKEN with all capital Letters! It's charged Shot can eat anything for breakfast!(Even bosses, i repeat, EVEN BOSSES), yes it's that strong! X8... honestly not the best arsenal in the franchise, not the worst either, it's very vanilla, all these weapons with the right hands and right circumstances can be useful in some regard, Cristal Wall is a Utility and Defense weapon, it's not that good for defense, it's useful for getting items and crucial for 100% this game. Shadow Runner might be my least favorite, but only because it's weak, great concept, an arrow that follows enemies. Some good weapons are Thunder Dancer, Melt Creeper, Shining Ray, Green Spinner, but my personal favorite is Drift Diamond, a Strong Spread Shot that freezes enemies, and it's charged shot creates and ice shield that envelopes X for a Long time and freezes enemies around. Well that was a long read, but it was totally worth it, because im a fan of this series, and I need to lead all this information out for the sake of my sanity, thanks for reading my opinion about the weapons in the X series.

Almost agree. X4: Ground Hunter is one I find even less useful than Lightning Web, even if the former is the weakness of one of Sigma's final forms. (The giant head) X5: Close one, but Ground Fire is way too inconsistent. Tied with Dark Hold. X6: Ray Arrow. They all have their uses, but this one travels too quickly to do any lasting damage. X7: Splash Laser, and possibly Explosion IF you don't have X's weapon gauge maxed. Splash Laser is frustrating against any fast moving target. Just try it when Hyenard is running around you. (BTW, Gaea Shield is Sigma's "official" weakness in final form. It sends the green orbs back to him and stops him in his tracks.) X8: Shining Ray, followed by Melt Creeper. Not enough range to put either of these to good use.

Well, I disagree with shotgun ice, is my go to weapon along with storm tornado. It goes crazy fast (I think 1.5 faster than the buster shot), can one shot small enemies and the ricochet is extrmely useful against said small enemies.

Here’s what I think of all of the weapons in the list: 1. I found the Shotgun Ice useful when you shoot it at wall as it creates more ice damage, and did found the charged version fun to ride in Armored Armadillo’s stage. 2. The Strike Chain I only use to get the Arm Upgrade, and nothing more. I think it’s better than the Magnet Mine, or the Crystal Hunter. 3. I never use the Gravity Well. Then again, most of X3’s weapons are just for Maverick fodder, and are just situational. 4. I don’t think the Lightning Web is that bad. It’s *meant* to be used as a utility weapon that is used like a double jump. I didn’t find the charged weapon as useful. It’s much better than the Frost Tower, Ground Hunter, and Double Cyclone. Those are just weak weapons in comparison. 5. I found the Goo Shaver to be a much better weapon than the Ground Hunter. I only use it against weak enemies, but it’s charged form is a screw nuke that can do good damage. I found it more useful than the Ground Fire. Ground Fire is situational, in comparison to X5’s great weapons. X6. The Ice Burst isn’t useful as a weapon, but it makes Gate’s Fortress as X with Jumper much better. That isn’t saying much for X6’s weapons. But it’s better than the Ground Dash. That weapon sucks as X. 7. Yep, Gaea Shield sucks, but all of X7’s weapons suck except your default weapon powered up. God, X7 sucks. 8. The Crystal Wall is useful for getting Rare Metals, and the Like, but I couldn’t use it for the life of me. But like X6, I only use them for Maverick weaknesses, nothing more because they’re situational. Forgive me for my little rant here, I just wanna give my opinion on each weapon. If you disagree, that’s fine.

In mmX6 guard shield is worse than the ice weapon. At least you can use the ice block as a platform, but guard shield barely blocks any attack and it even makes the fight against infinity mijinion harder

I love the gravity weapon in X3 it is really good when used in against the right enemies the one in X4 is good for jumping so I feel it's not the worst cuz u need to use it for some power ups and I love how x says shotgun ice in mavrick hunter x and again in X6 u can jump on the weapon but I almost hated all other weapons in that game even though I like it and in X8 u need crystal wall to find some power ups so in my opinion it's not the worst

Well shotgun ice really isn't bad; it eases the difficulty of some maverick bosses (And makes Spark Mandrill laughable). My worst weapon from Mega Man X is the Rolling shield. Sticks to the ground, you can only fire one at a time, gets destroyed when hitting tougher enemies, and the charged version is utterly outclassed by charged Chameleon Sting. I found it pretty much useless outside of the final battle against Sigma.

Missed opportunity with gravity well weapon. Should've did elevation and crushing. Like increased gravity. Flattening enemies. I just noticed in mmX2 the black hole weapon was so much better than the 3rd and was the same power essentially.

You choose the worst possible situation for the weapons very carefully... Most of em are good at the right time. F. E. Gravity well is awesome against a screen full of airborne and lightweight enemies. In a stage with solely heavy ground enemies it has of course almost no effect.

the problem in X series is because X doesn't have a dog neither a father! weapons that would be like tools like iten 2, wire, rush coil or mega ball, you will only recive from the boss. think strike chain is useful in lots of cases but not for fight! Crystal hunter is amazing on the right targets! thunder web is a tool in normal mode and a kind of giga attack charged, goo shaver cames after than gorund hunter and is really weaker! Ice burst must be a better cyrstal hunter but we have it only in concret shot, I think cause the part ultimate buster, some weapons on x5 and 6 were made for it, ice burst even will ask for dash part to work better and blade armor! shining ray is worst than crystal wall

Always thought Ice Burst was very strong but just hard to hit enemies with and expends a lot of energy. Maybe I need to replay 6 again to be sure though.... Also....might help to have footage of the weapons actually hitting things. You kinda wasted the goo shaver and the ice burst on enemies that don't take damage on certain parts of them.

My worst weapons list X1 - Homing Torpedo (The Enemies are never to far out of reach as to where you would massively benefit from this weapon.) X2 - Strike Chain (It has very short range, can pierce shields and doesn't do much damage either. You're better off using any other weapon in X2) X3 - Gravity Well (It doesn't damage more than 4 enemies in the entire game) X4 - Lighning Web (Good for platforming but horrible for attacking) X5 - Dark Hold (It's better than the Time Stopper as you can cancel the effect but you don't ever really need to freeze the game aside from the quick beam section as you can just attack enemies. Plus this weapon literally has no charge shot whatsoever) X6 - Meteor Rain (No range, bad damage, and the charge is yet another screen clear attack. X6 can't get enough of those can it?) X7 - Gaea Shield (It doesn't even work in 3-D yet it exists in 3-D. Even if it did work it would still suck as it doesn't reflect bullets or even deal that much damage) X8 - Shinning Ray (I always get hit when trying to use this thing due to its incredibly slow windup) I honestly don't think X1 or X5 have bad weapons. I was really stretching to find one for those.

Ice Burst is literally the best weapon in X6, and mandatory for nekkid runs.

-I wouldn't necessarily call Shotgun Ice a terrible weapon. Problem is that, much like the first classic Mega Man, it's up against what's probably the most powerful weapon arsenal in the entire X series. Not sure though if I would put it below Boomerang Cutter, except that at least Boomerang Cutter has the added utility of grabbing items. -Strike Chain is the type of weapon I feel had potential to do some cool things, but they did none of those cool things with it. -Gravity Well is a neat weapon because it can one-shot enemies, and clear out an entire screen of bad buys. Problem being that I feel like it doesn't work on any of the enemies that are threatening enough that you'd actually need that kind of power, especially since waiting for the standard shot to hit anything leaves you vulnerable. -This, I disagree, and would have to give it to Aiming Laser. Aiming Laser may have some good power behind it, but having to manually control its cross hair while simultaneously trying to navigate platforms and evade enemy fire makes its utilization incredibly cumbersome and awkward. Especially when you have other weapons like Rising Fire and Ground Chaser for dealing with enemies in hard-to-reach places without that added complication of wielding them. At least Lightning Web, while not useful as a weapon, has the added benefit of giving X additional jump height if needed. -Don't really have an opinion there. It's been ages since last I played X5, so I don't remember it well enough off the top of my head to add an opinion. Especially since I usually go through the end of the game, when special weapons would be in most use, equipped with the Gaea Armor. -I really want to say Guard Shell belongs here, but Ice Burst is also terrible. I think I would still have to give it to Guard Shell simply because Ice Burst can at least be used as a useless platform, which is more than I can ever get out of Guard Shell. -I actually like Gaea Shield, even if it's only because of how useless all the X7 weapons are. I revisited X7 recently on a whim because I wanted to finally get around to seeing the other two endings (had only beaten it once before, and got Zero's), and I actually found myself using Gaea Shield rather frequently because it provided a little bit of protection while firing off my standard bullets, which are astronomically more effective at combat than any of the offensive weapons the game provides. -Like X5, I don't remember X8 well enough to present my own opinion. Granted it's a good game, but I just haven't cared enough to revisit it after 100% completing it back when it released simply because you have to farm for money to purchase upgrades, a feature that doesn't lend itself well to a Mega Man game with how long it takes to acquire the finances needed to max out everybody.

Why cant you all understand it is opinionated and not all is because of the charge and how it is utilized of course we all have our own favorite weapons and least favorite ones Though yes almost some of them has the utility like shotgun ice (i personally love it) but of course as it is his opinion go with it for him it's one of the worst as some agreed with him and some did not is that so hard to understand

Tbh, as much as Shotgun Ice is weak, it's a pretty useful weapon. At least to take out weaker enemies in hard to reach places (not easy to master, though) Strike Chain is an utility weapon, so it use will be pretty rare, but it does your job well. Gravity Well is a pretty bad weapon. It's a shame, since i kinda liked the idea behind it. Lightning Web is, imho the most useful of the utility weapons in the series. It saved me several times when i was getting the hang of the game Goo Shaver sux overall. And the boss and stage where we can get it doesn't help either. I hate it! I was going to say you were unfair to Ice Burst,but i didn't remember the charged shot was so quick to stop. So i can say i agree with it Gaea Shield is a shield that can't protected. Enough said. Though, apart from Circle Blaze and Sniper Missile, all weapons from MMX7 were useless. Well, another utility weapon, so few uses. However, i, IMHO,Shadow Runner is worse since it hits from behind,even if the enemy is in front of damage and does little damage

6:25 this weapon is absolutelly necessary to Beat Sigma 2, that not so dumb as it mean.

The weapons are used more like a gimmick to open new paths than actual weapons. I just stick to the x buster for combat

My opinions on the weapons ● Shotgun is still massively useful elsewhere. C. Penguin slide! ● Strike Chain...well you can get the armor piece without it. ● Gravity Well can absorb all aerial enemies. Especially when charged. ● Lightning Web helps to jump to difficult reached areas. ● Goo Shaver...other than getting the armor piece, yeah it's useless. ● Ice Burst helps you pass over spike areas if you're not using Shadow Armor ● Gaea Shield...TOTALLY USELESS ● Crystal Wall...reminds me if Cold Man's weapon...

I would have to disagree with your choice for X6. The ice burst can at least be used to form platforms which can be useful. The worst weapon for X6 would have to be a tie between Ground hunter, which is slow to fire & leaves you vulnerable when in use & the Guard shell which very rarely absorbs anything & in fact is more of a liability during the fight with Infinity Mijinon due to the fact that the energy shot it absorbs is very rarely fired by him

Alright let me give feedback on these weapons: Shotgun Ice- Not even close to the worst. Deals decent damage, normal shots do what normal Chameleon Sting doesn't, and can be used to shred through large enemies in no time. The charge is very fun to use, but it's not really that useful. Strike Chain- Ugh. Everyone calls this thing the worst. Crystal Hunter is FAR worse, since it dings off of everything. The charge isn't very good, but it is way, WAY better than the charge for Crystal Hunter. It's below average, but by no means is Strike Chain bad. Gravity Well- Worst from X3, I agree Lightning Web- Worst from X4, I agree Goo Shaver- Worst from X5? Sure X6- Ice Burst is definitely the worst in the game.

Ice Shotgun? naa, it doesn't do the best damage but for speeding through the game it is a must have (way better then strike chain in it's utility) I can understand Strike Chain being a trashy move (only used for like one thing in the game and not worth using for anything elts)... Gravity Well is complicated but ones u get it it's not bad. Lightning Web understandable, even if u get the right spot it doesn't hit multiple time (except the charge version of it) it is left with the same problem Strike Chain has, only used ones to get a armor upgrade. Goo Shaver is one of my favorites because of how quick it is and how i can make quick work with a bunch of enemies, i don't know y u are gonna try and use water against grass and expect it to do damage now... Set ur controls to be able to shoot with the main button u use and set the special shot to a side button that doesn't get in the way and trust me u will start ripping throught enemy. Ice Burst... it's a Strike Chain need i say more. the ice block only says out for 5 sec which is annoying to me. the charge only last for about 2 sec. would be better but if it last longer. useless to me. Gaea Shield I never used that move because of how disappointing it was when i got it. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY WITH THIS ONE! Crystal Wall better then Gaea Shield owo I had a better time with this then that other thing. I still think they aren't trying with this tho...

2:30 Gravity Well? It is a really good weapon, but like all others has its' drawbacks. One example is that some enemies are unaffected by the weapon unless it's charged up (I didn't say that there weren't none with full immunity). 6:04 If the ice balls can be stacked, that would be very useful. (I've not played X5 onward as of yet) I've played through X1 through X3 several times; I know that every weapon has a usage, regardless of their drawbacks, but I find myself using the X-Buster most often.

The worst Maverick weapons for me: *X1 ???* Not sure, really. But if I really have to choose, maybe Electric Spark. *X2 ???* Again, not sure. I want to say Sonic Slicer or Spin Wheel. But Spin Wheel, while it's like a lesser version of Storm Tornado, is actually useful, while Sonic Slicer has an awesome charge shot. Thus, I can't decide. *X3 Acid Burst* This weapon is only good against enemies, but you have other weapons that are more powerful than this. And this weapon has no actual use for upgrade locations unlike Gravity Well which seems useless, but isn't. *X4 Soul Body* I don't even know what to say, really. If the charge attack is just like how it was in X5 during X vs Zero, I would have liked it. I don't even know what to use its Charge Attack for. The Regular Attack is fine, tho. *X5 ???* Once again, I'm not sure. X5 Weapons are all good, powerful, and/or useful. I even get to use all weapons during my run, including Dark Hold. *X6 ???* Well... Also, Guard Shell seems useless, but it's actually one of the best supportive weapons. *X7 ???* I never play X7, sorry. *X8 Melt Burner* Like some other MMX above, most weapons are good and powerful. But are some of them useful? Not really. And Melt Burner is one of them. It's good for attacking enemies from below, but Drift Diamond and Shining Ray can do a well enough job.

Shotgun Ice is meant for tight space group damages, not solo. Strike Chain, dude hold the damn shoot button and you might use it right. Gravity Well is meant for airborne enemies so your not even using it right. Lightning Web is the best for the main reason of having a platform mid air, not to be used as a weapons unless against Sigma. Yeah Goo Shaver I have to agree with, only when charged is it good. Ice Burst is also meant for platform development not weapon damage. Don't care about X7 or X8 at all. There is my opinion anyone who wants to judge just realize it dont matter mate. :)

I can’t stand the animation of X7 and X8. I wish they’d go back like mega man 11 and make like 1 new one like x1-3 and one from x4-6. It’s probably cuz 1-6 are nostalgic for me but still.

ok, I disagree with ice shotgun, but it is bc I like all x1 weapons, except maybe rolling shield. I kinda agree and disagree with strike chain, yeah on casual level it kinda sucks haha but it is the weapon that make speedruns of the game. X3 don't care for that game. for X4 I personally dislike rising fire, its hitbox is just... just no.Goo shaver is bad, but at least you can still move while using it, not like the firefly weapon. X7 don't care as well. and for X8 I rarely played as x or his armors in the game haha

Shotgun ice was alright in Megaman X. Fire Wave was the worst one, next to Electric Spark.

X1 - for me there is not a 'worst' weapon, in means of power, I.Shotgun is the same as Cham.Sting and L.Missile. X2 Crystal Hunter is the worst just because his full charged disapoints me, instead of run normaly in slowed time, you get slowed too. X3 Gravity Wheel - we know why. The worst of the whole franchise. X4 - Aiming Laser - its weak, but the point is not that, the way you have to use its completely unecessary. And i bet you werent feeling any need of using that weapon. X5 - Mattrex's weapon (i dont remember the name). Its just... Unusual, its aplication is worst than Goo Shaver, and the charged version is not good enough for a fire attack. X6 - Ground Dash - Different from Ice Burst, Ground Dash is a far weak attack and useless attack in the game. Ice Burst can help me to get somewhere, but ground dash, even its full charged, is not so useful compared to other attacks, even Acid Rain is more practical than Ground Dash. X7 - i will be honest, only Bolt Tornado & Fire Circle(a little) woth it in the game, the rest is shit. X8 - Squeeze Bomb - Ok, X8 also haves a bunch of not so useful weapons, Thunder Dancer, Burn Rooster's weapon, Shining Ray, Shadow Runner... (X weapons got weirder and weirder after X4). Squeeze bomb, when you see it you may think "oh, a powerful weapon" or at least think its strong... But nope, that is the far weak weapon in history(Gravity Wheel V2 basically). This only erase projectiles... (It wouls be useful ONLY if it got to be a shield weapon, we dont expect great projectiles doing nothing (or a very low value) in means of damage). Some weapons got altered to better in Xtreme, and thats good for some of them. Anyway, here is my list.

Every X4 weapon except Rising Flame and Aiming Laser sucks. Especially the Electric Web it's only good once.

Let’s be honest a lot of Mega Man X weapons suck in general. The only game that had good weapons was X1 and like maybe 1 or 2 weapons in each of the later games would be decent to use. Hopefully Mega Man X9 has some good special weapons to use :)

I mean shotgun ice really isn't bad; It makes Spark Mandrill laughably easy and bouncing off walls makes it a pretty interesting weapon. The worst from Mega Man X for me was the rolling shield; Sticks to the ground, you can only fire one at a time, charged version is utterly outclassed by charged chameleon sting, and nearly useless outside of the final battle against Sigma.

In x1, electric spark is worse than shotgun ice. Is so boring to use and is useless.
