Ahh yes, my favorite part of Armored Armadillo's stage was tediously entering 16 numbers to make sure I kept my weapons. X1 is such a masterpiece. Jokes aside, this is a great password theme. I prefer the funky beats of III and IV, but the jolliness of X1 is still nice to listen to.

One of my all time favorite songs. Sad that in a lot of remakes we never get remixes for password screens. I wanted it in MHX and was sad it wasn't there.

This was supposed to be upbeat, but this password theme but it always mad me sad. I often skipped it just because. Never knew why.

It’s cause it utilizes the minor Key, might be Bb minor/ Aeolian mode but I’m not entirely sure I’d need to have my bass in hand and find the note it resolves to the most

@@YophiGames That, and the use of descending bass and assistant melody progressions, despite the ascending main melody. It was made sad, because you likely died when you first heard this. However, the end of the tune leaves off on a more on an upbeat slope, because you will continue. ;) Such a beautiful song, lots of thought went into it.

It’s interesting how Capcom games on the SNES/SFC share samples. Take the bass here for example. You can hear it in Final Fight and Street Fighter II/Turbo.

Okay, how does reverb work in ANY of Capcom's SNES games from 1993?

The SNES soundchip has a reverb effect with it.

@@XisAgente No, I know that. But the reverb in Breath of Fire I, Final Fight 2, and Mega Man X is straight-up inaudible on a monaural speaker, regardless of the in-game sound settings. And then some samples, like the bass in this track, don't have reverb at all.

@@jonespianist3189okay let's explain this better, you can change wich channel will apply echo, and snes has a function that you can invert the sample waveform (the famous sourround) and you can apply this to echo (sourround doesn't work too well in mono speakers)
