Trivia: X1 is the only game with reactions to secondary weaknesses. Morph Moth’s first phase has a different reaction to his weakness.

X4 will always be my favorite out of the bunch. They put a good amount of personalities into the bosses and the fights are just exciting as well as the music

That's mega man X 5 for me. The theme song hits hard. I actually consider X4 like the mega man 8 of the X series. It could be so much better as the English version follows 8's mediocrity. Even 8 was more creative than X4, as for me, iris was a waste of time and spoke nothing to me and only web spider and dragoon ruined it for me. Kicked my arsenal real bad.

I guess the creators couldn’t think of a unique reaction for every boss to the weapons they’re weakest to. As we fight them, they just react to taking a hit, but some react in a unique way to their weaknesses, like Chill Penguin burning to the Fire Wave, and Spark Mandrill freezing to Shotgun Ice.

Some of the bosses just don’t give a shxt, like that spider. You can tell the weakness weapon draw much blood from them but they just don’t hold back like the other bosses do lol

I really wish the bosses followed Web Spider’s example for weakness’ its one thing to just shoot to win but with his you get rewarded more damage for using it the specific way and cutting him down. Its such a nice attention to detail I wish more bosses had adopted in some way.

They should have done this with Toxic Seahorse. Hitting him while he is melting should have frozen him and allowed you to rack up massive damage.

On flame mammoth you also forgot to use the cutter weapon on him so he'd lose his trunk too. Not really a weakness, just would've like to have seen that in here.

DeltaRay It's a glitch that makes Crush Crawfish not have invincibility frames when he gets hit by the weapon, so he gets hit multiple times.

At 18:50, that's how you use charged Ice Burst on Rainy Turtloid. I wondered about that. You just have to dash up and down. That makes sense. Ice Spikes travel perpendicular to you when you dash.

My favourite Mavericks when get hit by weakness are Web Spider (he falls his ass on the ground), Slash Beast (Get Hit! Roarrr! Get Hit! Roarrr!) Metal Shark Player (He is groaning in pain and becomes watery effect, guessing Meteor Rain which is a water type move is super effective against a Rock & Steel type poke like Metal Shark Player), Infinity Mijinion (Very satisfying but not worth using weakness on him), Megaman X7 Ride Boarski (Very Laughable with his "HOLEY MOLEY!") Wing Crowang (He almost say Mur....Krow a pokemon reference but it's Caw). I like most of Megaman X4, X6 & X7 pain, quotes and griefs from the bosses. However Sniper Anteater weakness is retarded imo and doesn't feel like it's doing much damage or stunning him at all.

The MMX7 has a variety of damage abilities, not the X1 to X8 versions. Personally, I think X7 just needs X-Buster and Glide Armor is enough to finish the game :v

Well if u want to damage enemies or bosses a lot, I say the best weapons in X7 is Volt Tornado, Axl's G-Launcher, the Charged version of Splash Laser, Explosion if are good at using it close range, Zero's Rajinshou along with special chips to increase your invisibility period by 50% which is max by 3 and even boost the power to 50% as well. That's just my opinion.

But forgot to mention this Wheel Gator when u hit him with weakness which is Strike Chain, he always go hide in water everytime and your timing must be very good when using this weapon and has a very wonky hitbox to it.

I only use Splash Laser because Explosion actually consumes mana horribly. When X has 24 HELPs holding heart and mana, he will only use Eplosion 4 times. But in return it is a powerful weapon and it is hard to hit hit bosses in 3D mode :v

Guard shell against mijinion is mostly utility. The blue orbs that pop out can be slashed and a beam will come out where you can climb on it basically making a makeshift ladder to evade the bubbles. Those are hard to evade.

The X3 bosses are some of the worst in the series. Blizzard Buffalo, Toxic Seahorse, and Gravity Beetle are some of the only ones I enjoy. That's if I'm fighting them buster-only, mind you. I think having more complex patterns rather than a simple phase 1 pattern and simple phase 2 pattern would have made the fights better. Then, just don't make the stuns so egregious. Maybe only the charged Gravity Well stuns Blast Hornet, Toxic Seahorse only gets stunned if you hit him while he's melting/unmelting, Volt Catfish fires out sparks when hit by Tunnel Rhino's weapon, stuff like that.
