I like to think these Zero mods are an alternate timeline where X died in X1. The divergence starting with X summoning the last of his strength to break free from Vile's Electric Snare, jumping on to Vile's Ride Armor and overloading his X-Buster to the point of tearing himself in half from the sheer force. While X was successful in destroying Vile's Ride Armor Vile himself remains unharmed. As Vile mocks X's sacrifice, Zero filled with "Rage" breaks free of his cage with a "power" he didn't know possible and prepares to tear Vile a new one. Just as X in the original timeline was able to harness Justice Energy(Mega Man 8) to break free and repair his damage Zero summoned power from the Virus Wily had implanted in him all those years ago boosting his power to levels thought impossible, if only for a short while, to break free from his cage, repair his damage and defeat Vile. With Vile defeated and his "Rage" fading away, Zero rushes over to X with only enough time for X to give Zero a chip that will allow Zero access to X's V.W.S(Variable Weapons Chip), granting Zero the ability to use the Maverick Weapons X used in the Original game. With some final words X passes away leaving Zero to face against Sigma. After the events of X1 Zero gets call from the X-Hunters stating that they have X's remains. As Zero starts to head out he is forcibly teleported to a location known only to him and Dr. Cain, Dr. Light's lab, the same place X was found in. Dr. Light's hologram form explains that if Zero can retrieve X he will be able to repair the damage to X as well as remove any "alterations" that was made on him. Dr Light also states that he uncovered Dr. Wily's completed blueprints for Zero and can implement them if Zero Steps into X's Capsule, to explain the difference between Zero's X1 to X2 armor. In this iteration of X2 if Zero fails to retrieve X's body parts Serges and Sigma will alter X to be evil(though he will break free upon defeat), if Zero succeeds Serges and Sigma will complete "X-Kai" who was an unused X-Hunter that came from the 20XX Era, apparently as a prototype for Zero based on the data of the original Mega Man(basically X with Bass's color palette) The Zero Mod timeline ends at the end of X3 with Zero fully playable through the whole game(you can even choose him for the opening stage complete with alternate dialogue). So what do all of you think?

This is really cool, but it would be awesome if someone had the coding skill to make Zero play how Zero would in his later titles. That being said, I'm glad to already have the opportunity to be able to control how he does in X3. It always bummed me out that X3's use of Zero was just so limiting.

X2 is always such a classic so it's cool to see x3 zero in it though it would be cool if he had like his double jump and what not

It's an amazing job, but if you look close enough, you'll see that this Zero is from X3, I really would like to play with the x2's Zero. The sprites fom x2 looks cool, we can see them while we are fighting against him at sigma's stage.

X Maverick Hunter, I have a challenge for you. It's something I've only ever managed twice despite thousands of attempts. Beat Omega Zero in Megaman ZX using only the uncharged Z Buster. (Aka lemons). It's an uphill battle because of Rekkoha healing him 8 units of health and the fact that lemons only stun him if he's using overdrive. You need good RNG, you need to bait him into being more likely to use certain attacks (And therefore less likely to use Rekkoha), and you need to consistently keep him tagged and stunned as much as possible to counteract the times when RNG would have him use Rekkoha anyway. Sometimes you'll need to take damage to position him better so as to avoid Rekkoha, and other times it's better to let him heal 8 units and preserve your own health. You're allowed to use 4 Sub Tanks, an Orange, and an E Tank. You aren't allowed to transform mid-fight, use the Z Saber for anything, charge the Buster, or use any pause tricks. I recommend Normal Mode, because it's a 15 minute endeavor, and you don't want a run to be ended by an instant death Ranbu.
