Boss: Omega - 00:50
NOTE: You can only get the Mysterious Rock after defeating Megaman Zero 3 AND 4 bosses (all eight of them) OR killing Omega. Pick your poison. But word of warning: If you're playing on Easy difficulty you CANNOT obtain Model Ox.
Omega is balls to the wall crazy here. He doesn't get any buffs from Normal to Hard difficulty (besides the native damage boost) because he doesn't need any.
This boss is ridiculous even on normal terms. His biggest change from Zero 3 to ZX is that he doesn't stop attacking for a damn second, as soon as he finishes one attack he'll start another and depending on your position he can very well kill you in one move and he can do his desperation move (7-hit combo) from the get go. Yeah.
Everything he had as the final boss from his original game he has here and also a new nasty gimmick: his shield heals him, so cheesing out with Model Hx is a no-go here. Omega also doesn't stop for a few moments to prepare another attack like he does in Megaman Zero 3, so yeah, enjoy having the murderploid on your tail at all times.
There's little to no room for mistakes here: either you learn how to react to Omega's rushes or you'll be dead very quick. If he starts the 7-hit combo (he bumps into you during his hops) you're dead, that thing deals massive damage and I'm not even sure if you can survive it using the sole Sub Tank you can get in Hard difficulty.
Something very important to survive this fight is knowing when and how to get out of the corner. Pay attention if Omega dashes, hops or double jumps. Dash means he can possibly do a rising slash or use his healing shield, hop is his insta-kill combo (he'll flinch with a fully charged attack), double jump means he'll either just fall or his air spin attack which launches waves everywhere. The last attack in particular is a major threat since if Omega uses that while you're cornered it WILL hit you.
