They actually dance in LaDuca shoes which are specifically made for dancers. The shoes are super comfortable and are a completely different experience than regular heels.

It’s an encore that isn’t on the studio version. It happens at the end of every show and the audience is actually encouraged to record it.

Technically curtain call, I guess

Hmmmm it’s a very unique curtain call. Since there are only six characters who stay on stage the whole stage there really isn’t a need for a traditional curtain call. I wouldn’t say it’s an encore since it’s done every time. It’s at the end and it basically combine all of the queens songs into a short recap. It’s actually quite impressive how the writers were able to keep the same beat and tempo to every song, be able for the others to interrupt while making it sound nice, and the transitions to be flawless. I think it’s actually good for the curtain call to be done this way because the whole message of the musical is to change and be unique!

The swings are amazing at doing what they do! They are always available to play whatever queen and know all of the songs incase they need to jump in. This cast is amazing but I dont think you appreciate how skilled the swings are. Grace has covered every queen and is the dance captain and never messes it up

these women are all humans, they aren’t always up to perform 8 shows a week. they get sick, need breaks, go on vacation, etc. the fact that you would even say that is so stupid, it blows my mind
