I realise that simon hurt leanne a lot but if u watch from 2012, she had a large battle to get him to be able to live with her. I feel bad for leanne over oliver but simon still needs to know he is loved x

@Roxie Rocks And this isn't Steve's first time through this either. He loss his other son in a tragic and sudden way as well. And probably the one thing that help him with that grief was Oliver. Now he's gonna lose this son as well. That's gonna knock anyone for six, especially given Steve's history with depression. Yes, it's horrible what Leanne is going through, but she's not the only one losing a child or whose been through this before.

I know and like Steve already lost a child before this would be his second time now but Leanne acting like Steve never lost a child and doesn’t know what it feels like to lose a child but Steve already lost another son a few years ago and poor Nick he’s losing a stepson yes I know Nick not Oliver’s biological father but he’s his stepfather and it’s still so sad but yeah Leanne is acting like Steve doesn’t know what it’s like losing a child or Steve never lost a child before but he has a few years ago but I do feel bad for them all and Emma and Amy and Simon are losing a brother yes I know there not biological siblings but still it still hurts the same for everyone

@@faithiswhatumakeit4354 he lost a baby to Karen, he lost a baby to Becky and he lost twins to Tracy ,then he lost Ruari he was stillborn and now he’s lost 3year old Oliver so he’s lost 6 babies 👶4 of them he never got to meet ,and 2 of them he will never see grow up 😭poor Steve💔

I think what Leanne is tryna say is that Oliver is her own and when he’s gone she won’t be a mum a propel mum cuz she’s got no kids.... but Simon is her stepson has she ever considered him as her family?!

I thought Leanne adopted him. She fought Peter to have him with her and remain as his mum, She had always declared herself as his mum- which was why it shocked and hurt Simon when she seemed to suggest otherwise.

He has a terminal illness because he’s body can’t produce the right amount of mitochondria

He has an incurable form of mitochondrial disease so he will die at a very young age. It's a horrendously cruel disease, and every child is different so they won't know exactly how long Oliver has. And in this case, that's up to the writers.
