Max brings on everything himself.

Max crossed the line again and especially when he said David wasn’t his real dad yet again after everything David has done for him it’s sad 😞 and he shouldn’t say that as David loves him like his own x

This is showing how not to deal with a problem child. Blaming yourself is not the way when they do something so far out of the realms of normal “bad behaviour” is not the way. Making the child see it has to come with consequences & taking accountability is key.

David’s right, she’d be disappointed. Kylie would have slapped him one the fist time he stepped out of line.

The thing is, you can love your child―in fact, you should, unconditionally―and teach them that certain behaviours are not acceptable. Like, yes, let your kids run free and make sure they know you'll keep them safe, but part of what that means is also keeping them safe from themselves. As soon as Max began hurting others―as well as himself by way of the consequences―David should have stepped in. In his position, I would also have taken his phone, his camera, and his laptop. I would have also made sure that he knew it wasn't a punishment, but that I was doing it for his own safety. You know, as much as I could: he is a child after all. Next, you have to make sure that he starts making up for the things he's done so that he sees that making a positive impact on people's lives is far more valuable than a negative impact. If he was taught like that and if David hadn't taken a punitive approach in teaching Max these lessons, maybe he wouldn't have been arrested in the first place.

Could you imagine how Becky would’ve reacted too if she was still around? I think she’d react worse than Kylie.

Max should never do bad stuff again

Lots of people in the world have had a tough upbringing. But, in Max’s case having David and Shona as his “parents” is not doing him any favours either. Both of them have done jail time and neither has very good ethics, values and are severely lacking in morals. Just look at both of their past histories. But make no mistake, Max is a kid who takes no responsibility for his actions and hopefully the writers will see fit to have him spend some time in jail to bring him around and change for the better.

Didn't David cover up the death of Max's biological father? He was a villain. I know it was self defence and I think that's why max is the way he is and I don't think he knows the truth about his father's death? Max did wrong but David is a bit of a hypocrite

I know you not gonna like what I'm about to say guys but half of this isn't max's fault half of it is just how he was brought up. 1. His mother died when he was young. 2. David's teaching him that no matter how much damage Max has done, he will be easily forgiven. My opinion - I really think David shouldn't be given max advice himself or just think about what he is saying because David had gotten into way too much trouble when he was Max's age and when he was 19 stuff like that, and the sort of stuff he is saying to max is making max think it's a good thing. i.e - Trying to get someone killed ( ⛎ Jason ⛎ ) But also max is old enough to know that he shouldn't be thinking it's a good thing to get into trouble or whatnot. So who do you think is to blame. ♈ Max ♈ or ♐ David ♐ or ♌ Both ♌ or ♓ Gail ♓ - I'd be surprised if anyone put her as to blame for Max's recent behaviours. (This option was as a joke) If anything I say is wrong please do let me know, because I do sometimes just talk gibberish.
