Yeah alya that's right but in max life knowing he can't confront you when he has done what he was told and not go near you. How is that character lasted so long on this show. Clearly kept for politic reasons because she doesn't offer anything to the show and the actress is terrible.

- KAYFABE MOMENT - I get the fact that Alya was protecting somebody by telling about Max's situations if there was no intent of Max telling his side of the story, but I think for Alya to go ahead and butt into Max's business who is trying to get back into a normality phase with having a "girlfriend" in Bec, whilst still paying for the stupidity that he was unfortunately involved in - it is a bit out of order, especially how it has been twisted (even though we don't know what has been said, and even though Max was in the crossfires as a victim in some respect). Alya made it clear to Max that if he contacts her in any way possible, she would go to the police and in turn it would break the terms of his license and would unfortunately lead to him returning back inside for the rest of the time he has left of his sentence, so why is it right for her to involve herself with him when she knows that in return - it would spark issues/confrontations with the likes of David & Shona on why she did what she did (if it happens), and even with Max when he is 100% freed from his tag/sentence. - REAL MOMENT - I think this story is interesting, but I think the ultimate payoff is the Griff trial coming up when both Max & Alya hope to at least get along with each other, and hope to get justice for them both.

I kind of agree, I'm not too keen on this actor and wonder if the previous character would have done a better job at this part. I do believe he was younger but he could have grown into the part. Maybe it's his voice it doesn't seem very genuine when he says things that should have meaning.
