If it wasn't for her majesty the Queen giving them the gift of a dukedom at marriage, they would be referred to there royal highnesses Prince and Princess Henry of Wales. Which they still are but choose to be referred to there royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. On paper, Meghan is her royal highness Princess Henry of Wales, the duchess of Sussex.

Life of the nuckies Lots of loves I think Kate has never really had to work, though her parents are from humble beginnings they worked hard to get their kids in the top schools etc. It paid off. Piers Morgan accuses Meghan of being a social climber forgetting about the Middletons.

The thing with Kate was, her lack of work experience and life skills, really showed in the beginning. I think she just learnt as she went along. Would've been more challenging for her. Really, in all the years before they married, she should've been more prepared for her future role by throwing herself into full-time independent employment and not her parent's business. She relied on them too much, instead of being her own person and having her own identity and not just William's long-term on/off girlfriend, whenever it suited him! Apart from her brief stint at Jigsaw and 'working' for her parents, she has no other employment history. Even Diana and I dare say it, Beatrice and Eugenie have actually worked more! Meghan is definitely more of a people person, plus she's media savvy, confident and self-assured. Kate started off shy, timid and reserved, lacking confidence. She had to really step out of her comfort zone, if she wanted to improve.
