People who criticise this song for being narcissistic and self centred are missing the entire point of the song. It's supposed to be something you sing to yourself to help you feel better about yourself. To help improve and help people with low self esteem. Plus also being something funny and catchy you sing in the mirror and with friends for a good time to. She didn't make it to flaunt how much she loves herself. She made it to help others love themselves; but in a lighthearted way.

She has a lot of other songs with the same goal of making people who would otherwise have low self-esteem to feel better about themselves. From several sources: "Lyrically, the song extends her compositions about self-love and self-empowerment, urging listeners to be more content and confident with themselves." Even if she's being narcissistic, it's not to try and show off. It's to try and be a role model for other people to look up to, as she does not see herself as perfect but flaunts her flaws anyhow. Not sure why you're trying to tear down the song for people who see it this way, as many who do already have low enough self-esteem as it is without you adding onto it...
