Im glad Jewish students and their friends are fed up. Sad they have to do the work of leadership. One thing is to protest but another is intimidation and stopping paying students from going to class.

It's interesting that AOC refers to the protestors as "kids" while people younger than them are serving in the armed forces and considered adults. We really need to stop infantilizing college age young people and make them take accountability.

If you go to your local hospital you will find your neighbours suffering incredible adversity and sometimes with no visitors. If you want to improve the world go and visit someone with no family in a hospital rather than protesting against something you have no idea about thousands of miles away.

The UN's leaders prefer to maintain the Palestinians' refugees status because they get tons of money and power in behalf of the "Palestinian cause". The UN have 2 refugees agencies - UNHCR for around 100mil refugees around the world, and UNRWA only for the Palestinians. It's just absurd that the Palestinians still see themselves as refugees for 75 years. They could already have their own country but their leaders have refused any attempt for peace during the history (including the Oslo and Camp David talks in the 90s and 00s) and have never offered an alternative. Their "refugees camps" (prior to Oct-7th) are actually proper cities. Their leaders are corrupted, they prefer to get the money coming from donations, keep the people poor, and always blame Israel for all their problem. They teach their ppl about war and revenge (over events from the last century in which both sides weren't flawless) instead of peace and compromise. They never really try to SOLVE the problem but they rather USE the problem for their own good..

AOC aspires to be a fool. But it's an uphill battle.

Reminds me of some of the other rights we’ve had over the last few years. Makes you wonder just how many were bused in or paid in some way to participate and cause trouble.

It’s not the police I’m waiting and watching to see take action. It’s the DA’s, prosecutors, and the courts I’m waiting and watching closely on how and if the protesters assaulting officers will face the same justice system those that were convicted for charges (assaulting an officer) made against them for their involvement on Jan 6. I don’t recall politicians being advised to stay away from the capital building for days, and for their safety they needed to work from home. Unlike the Jewish students at these universities have been told it wasn’t safe for them on campus grounds, and best they do their studies online.
