This is history distortion.. The masjid al aqsa mentioned in the holy qur’an is the Temple of Solomon(peace be upon him) there is nothing in hadith or in the qur’an where it mentioned exactly in the Temple where maryam’s mihrab… We also don’t know if the same structures of the Temple Mount today exists during the time of Maryam(peace be upon her). Who inform them that this is the mihrab of Maryam? The Prophet (peace be upon him) was long gone when the caliphate expanded till palestine region.
