@@DanielRodriguez-cv3xb true i have an indian mastiff which weighs around 205 pounds and can run 40kmph straight for 3 miles. Primitive breeds like alabai, Caucasian shepherds or kangals etc depend upon the specimen rather than the breed as they are not line bred.

It really depends on the lines, typical Japanese Tosa is kind of lightweight, usually around 50 kilos, while everywhere else they are bred for size and 80+ is not uncommon. The largest I’ve seen was almost 100kg, but then it somewhat loses proper proportions. Boerboel might look heavier but then it’s on average 10cm lower at withers.

Almost Japanese don't like dog fighting and they don't know where there are dog fighting conventions. So almost Japanese don't think it's cool.

Dog fighting is the reason dogs are legit awesome at saving lives you are not some cool hero, you are trash, if there were aliens or a war for example and we did not have gamebred breeds to fight we could lose as most belgian mal are not gamebred and are curs and many of things we do military wise uses dogs. Also as far as personal protection fighting breds are better. Without that history we have lesser dogs. You are a piece of shit for not fighting dogs and in japan the dogs are fought and are stopped when it gets bad much like ufc. If you do not like it fuck off.

I go to many countries and take videos many kind of dogs. Because my job is importing and exporting dogs between Japan and other countries. Please see my KZfaq channel. Tosa inu, pit bull, bully kutta and ovcharka. I love dogs. Especially molossian breeds. And they are show dogs too. So many tosa inus have been trying dog shows in Europe. I go to European dog show and world dog show every year. Many European Tosa Inu lover friends always tell me they want to import Tosa inu pups from Japan and many many Tosa Inu lovers in the world have told me they want to see real Japanese Tosa Inus by email and facebook messenger . But 99% Tosa inus in Japan are fighting dogs. So I have gone to fighting tosa inu competition and have taken videos a few times and have showed them to other countries Tosa Inu lovers. This video as well. but we are very sorry. There is dog fighting in Japan. It's true. I think Japanese government becomes to discuss about Tosa Inu fighting in the future but now because there are many Tosa Inu fighting lovers in Japan and they are powerful voters. And do you know Tosa Inu history ? Prefectural governor of Kochi recommended Tosa Inu fighting in past. Kochi was called Tosa in past. So many people did Tosa Inu fighting. You can see Tosa Inu history if you are interested in it.

Dog fighting is allowed only in Shikoku prefecture in Japan. And it's very different from those illegal dog fightings in other countries. The dog fighting in Shikoku is strictly ruled for saving dogs from vital injuries and accidental death during the games. It's a kind of dog sports like UFC fightings of humans. For example, if a dog barked during the game, the dog loses the game because, a barking of a dog means like a tapping in human martial arts.

It's part of Japanese culture. A country is defined by it's borders, language and culture
