Fun fact: 'Balli aur Mein' is a song about his alter ego. Obviously from the way Anjum raps it's clear he knew some people who were into this shady business of small time theft so the story is also based on them as well But in my opinion the main underlying theme besides the percieved story telling is a 'what if story'. What if Anjum never found rap or never made it as a rapper and he answers it in the form of 'balli aur mein' where 'balli' stands as a metaphor for the 'version of Anjum that never made it and got consumed by the bad background he comes from. ' because it's pretty evident talha anjum comes from a broken home /broken family if not that atleast a very struggling lower middle class family .
