I have been waiting to see that absolute insanity that occurs at 1:29 since this album came out. ❤ Clay is seriously one of the top drummers out there! He can play something different with each limb and not break a sweat. Plus, he always just looks like he's having the time of his life. He plays with such joy

Not sure what the originals sounded like. But, within the context of a full mix, these types of drum sounds would typically be taking up way too much real estate. In these showcase types videos there's nothing but the drums, so it doesn't matter if there's no room for anything else.

@@deanroddey2881drums in the original are all sound-replaced to sound like programmed trap drums. Obviously I’m not implying album version should have the drums this far out in front, just that it’s nice hearing these parts actually played on a well-mic’ed kit rather than sounding like ticky samples

I don't know if this can help out. But if you want to hear this version the same with the album version, try adjusting the speed of the video, do custom then use 1.05x speed.

They play it 10bpm slower live. Probably how they played it originally and they just sped it up on the record but they keep the original tempo live.

This would be, to put it lightly, difficult to play at full speed. Tim didn’t even play his play through on his channel at full speed. I’m pretty sure Gober is the only one who can go full speed on this one.

I kinda like it slowed, it sounds less rushed, usually Polyphia songs don’t sound rushed to me but this specifically it does a tad bit
