For the Kukis, it is irrelevant what the Meiteis do within their 700 sq miles territory. Karan sir, the questions are very simple and the answer is not easy in regard to the current scenario of manipur, it's not about how but it is about why all this happened despite the so called double engine govt.

Some important points I would like to bring to the knowledge of all the Indians are : 1.The Arambai Tengol is taking up arms only to guard the integrity of our state, not to threat anyone. While the Kuki militants, backed by their civil societies like ITLF, CoTU and KIM, are trying to destroy the integrity of Manipur state in order to build a Zalengam (Kukiland). 2.What the Arambai Tengol did on that particular day(January 24,2024) was the consequence of the inaction of the government (both central and state) against the Kuki militants who have been attacking Meitei villages at the periphery of the state since May 3, 2023. 3. Regarding the Assam Rifles, being abide by the rules of SoO agreement, they can't retaliate upon the kuki militants, who on the other hand is frequently breaking the SoO rules. Taking the advantage of this SoO agreement, they have been frequently attacking the Meitei villages with sophisticated weapons.And moreover, there have been many reports on the involvement of Non- SoO kuki militant groups and Chin Kuki militants based on Myanmar in these attacks.But so far the Assam Rifles have done nothing more than being a mute spectator. This attitude breaks the heart of the Meitei Community. Owing to this, the Meitei people are asking the government to replace them with state forces and other central forces which will take action against the kuki militants.And on behalf of the people, the Arambai Tengol have come up with the demand 4. Regarding delisting of the kukis from ST list, it will be a proper step, I would say, as they are refugees and they don't have the right to enjoy the privilege of ST( only to be given to the true citizens of India). NRC is utmost necessary.

There is no love within the two communities. In my opinion. No system at all. Politics is a game.

I would say unlawful and unconstitutional activities carried out by radical meetei on 24 january 2024 at kangla fort imphal was stunning remarkable failur of the government of India. How can one community demand to the centre which clearly is the destruction of another community in light of the great democracy country like india, it’s unbelievable. Arambai Tenggol came into prominence as ITLF's counterpart. Meiteis feel that ITLF's violent war-mongering ways necessitate the existence of AT. and hence, support them. It's amusing to see people like Karan Thapar and Barkha Dutt giving so much importance to what ITLF says and selectively quote lines from their never-ending press notes. We all know that ITLF is an armed organisation and has been spearheading this violence in many ways. The nomenclature ITLF is itself contentious. "Indigenous"? Now, that's a controversial term. "Tribal"? Well, ITLF doesn't include the Nagas. "Leaders"? Where are they? Who are these? We don't know who these faceless leaders are. "Forum"? What! And they're heavily armed.
