In this case, there isn't much difference between them. There is no long extra content. This video just has all 3 parts put together into one unit. It actually doesn't take a terribly long time to do this. In fact, this is the first video that I make. I put all the video clips together into one long video. That's when most of the editing takes place. And then when I have the long video finished, I go back and divide it up into 3 parts afterwards. THAT is what takes more time to do. Once I post the 3 shorter videos, I still have the original long video on my computer. So I figure I might as well post it as well. It's a bit silly to repeat all the content in a new video. But I don't want to delete it and waste it. I figure, why not just throw it up on KZfaq for safekeeping? 😀

I've had a lifelong love of the movie Apocalypse Now. Oddly enough, my English teacher in high school had a copy of the movie way back in 1980 or 1981. If I remember right, it was actual cannisters of film and he used a projector. He showed it to all his English classes in sections, and I went to all the classes I could where the movie was showing and watched it over and over. Of course, he was showing it to us because of its connection to Joseph Conrad's book Heart of Darkness. Much later, I saw it in repertoire theaters. I never saw it in theaters when it was first released. And then, of course, came the era of VHS tapes and then DVDs, and I've had copies of the movie in both of those formats along with all the commentary tracks and making of features and things like that. If I had to make a list of my top 10 favorite movies, Apocalypse Now would definitely be on the list. 👍

just over 40 US

Surprisingly, a tour like this is about half of that. The cost for a day trip to the Mekong Delta is just over $20 US. It struck me as very good value considering everything that's included.

What's the chances of being eaten by a crocodile or anaconda?
@PlanetDoug21 күн бұрын
I think the chances are very very slim. It was a bit confusing, but I was reading online about crocodiles in Vietnam. And it seemed like they are disappearing very fast. Certain species are endangered now or maybe even all of them. And my tour guide was wrong about the type of snake. As far as I know, there are no anacondas in Vietnam. I think they are found only in South America. But there are very large pythons in Vietnam. The largest of them could overpower a human being. But I think it would be very unusual. I think you'd be very lucky to even see a python in the wild. To be attacked by one would be a very rare occurrence. It's not something I would worry about at all. 🙂

Ugh that pretentious babe at the bow spoils the sight for me, thanks be to God she didn't take too long to shove off. besides youth there ain't much going there. i do know about Coconut island where in the 60s & 70s, before all the tourism, a buddhist monk by the name of Coconut monk (Dao Dua) lived. he subsisted solely on coconuts supposedly

I have to say I don't share your feelings about the glamorous member of our tour group. 😁 She was very nice and quite pleasant to have on the tour along with her friend. They were both very friendly and fun to hang out with. Interesting story about Coconut Island. Thanks. I was just assuming that the island was named after just having a bunch of palm trees and coconuts. It's a more interesting story to have the island named after a monk. It's possible our guide mentioned that at some point during the tour and I just missed it. I wonder if it's part of the Island's official history.
